1 month in, wow how the times have changed!

Rewind 60 days ago...

I knew nothing of affiliate marketing, website building, online sales, google analytics, webmaster, social media power and more. I work a great paying job that I'm miserable at and am pretty good at. I have a bright future in my line of work but yet....there is something missing...

Trust me I count my blessings daily, but what about the blessing of being able to make a change in my life that many people don't have. I am blessed with the opportunity to live in a country where anything is possible. I am blessed to live in a time where my mind can benefit me more than my body(manual labor).

My shifts run about 12 hours a day including weekends. I have a son who is 2 years old, a supportive of my schedule wife and another baby on the way...So I have a great paying job, an awesome family and a bright future...Whats missing?? TIME TIME and TIME...

Many people don't get to see my baby boy cry every morning when I leave for work or when he cries at night over FaceTime when I can't come home yet..This is my motivation for change.This is my motivation to find something more for me and my family.

So here is what has happened in my 60 days of knowledge loading here at wealthy affiliate, youtube and before WA paying for easy plugin websites to try and make myself money and a future. I started with quick plug in play amazon site builders. $300 here $200 there and I found my self not making a penny and spending it instead, I laughed at one point because the money I spent ironically was being made by the real affiliate pros sucking me in lol.

So I joined WA and started watching the online videos and seeing the tons of people just like me, different stories spread across the nation and world but all with the same goal. So I began reading and staying up late watching videos on SEO, social media, website building, affiliate marketing. I felt like I knew enough so I approached a friend about running the website for his business. A long lunch later and I am now in charge of a website for a company grossing over 40k month...scary still but learning as I go.

My story is only to encourage no matter who you are you can make it...No matter your story, stick to the dream and remember it only stays a dream unless you act on it. I can about it or be about it. #stayhungrymyfriends
