I love dogs and I'm particularly inspired by this quote from Jack Canfield:

"As you begin to take action toward the fulfillment of your goals and dreams, you must realize that not every action will be perfect. Not every action will produce the desired result. Not every action will work. Making mistakes, getting it almost right, and experimenting to see what happens are all part of the process of eventually getting it right."

Hi; I read your article, "How To Update The "A" Record For Subdomains". Is the WA IP?

P.S. Your article was easy to understand and very comprehensive. Thanks.

Please do not post affiliate links here at Wealthy Affiliate. I have seen this happen on several occassions and if it happens again you are going to lose ALL posting privileges. We take this very seriously here at WA and we have a zero tolerance for this.

Please reserve all promotions for your websites. Thanks.

Right.. Although I'm not really sure what you're talking about, I'm sorry if I ever did.

But just for the record Kyle, I have only posted one tutorial so far and there's not a single affiliate link in there. I have also started a few discussions and as far as I know, they were all questions and if I ever linked to something in those posts, I'm sure none of them are affiliate links.

So I feel like I don't deserve this warning.

Yesterday I was wondering if it was okay to include affiliate links within the resources that we post because I saw this happening in some older posts. Like this one for example where he included his affiliate link to Aweber:

But somehow it did not feel right, so I asked a question about it on the Live chat and @Rich pointed me to this: https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/training/wealthy-affiliate-the-open-education-project/spam-is-a-no-no

And then now, I get this warning which I find surprising. And as of this writing, that article by Marcus I cited above has already been modified - his Aweber affiliate link has been removed.

But looking at the bright side, I'm still grateful you didn't suspend my posting privileges right away. And Kyle, if you would be so kind, please let me know which of my posts contain affiliate links and I will remove them if you haven't done so yet.

So... I really did go through some of the posts I've made before and found one comment where I did include my affiliate link to 1and1 registrar.

I have removed the affiliate link now.

Guess I really deserved the warning after all... Sorry, that was one of my first few posts since I got active again here. I've been a member since May 2012 but it was only this month that I've really become active. And I haven't read about the rules on affiliate links yet when I posted that comment.

So thanks Kyle for giving me just a warning. I'll be more careful next time.

No problem, we are just really stringent. I did remove the affiliate link within the particular training resource that you mentioned as well, thanks for bringing that to our attention. I also appreciate you removing that other link, thanks a lot! :)
