I've received a number of notifications from WA saying that about 6 of my pages have have been indexed in Google, but then when I go to Google Analytics and Webma
Hi Nicole,
There is a difference between being indexed and ranking. The notification you get about being ranked means that Google now knows your content exist, which is a great and important first step.
Ranking means to actually have a high position in the search results which can take more time. So if Jaaxy cannot find it, it is because you are not on the first 5 pages of Google yet (Jaaxy can also scan more depending on the membership you have there).
So do not worry - Google knows you are there and just keep going and then the high rankings will come.

thanks so much this now makes a lot more sense since I was confusing the terms! I will keep powering on, and not worry too much about the numbers for the time being. Thank you!! :)

I have just completed a review on my website of some accommodation I recently stayed in, and this review was pretty similar to the one I put on Trip Advisor aswel
Duplicate content can hurt your chances of ranking in Google as Google (and other search engines) like unique content.
I would suggest you to maybe just rewrite your review on your own website a little. Add more info, more details, more personal experience - think about making it as thorough and as helpful as possible.
If you add and make it longer, better, and with more details than would you wrote on Tripadvisor, you will in general have better chances of ranking high in Google.

Thanks for the reply, greatly appreciated. I think I might cut back on the detail of my Tripadvisor review as it was pretty detailed, I had a lot to say! :P and then increase on my on blog page. Thanks heaps for your help.

Another social media platform out there, and between google+, instagram, pinterest, and facebook its getting pretty out of control! :P I was wondering if anyone had experience
No, I have not heard of it so I know nothing about it. I am sorry I could not help you out.
Nicole I hadnt heard of linktree til you wrote this post :) that said, I only work in Google+ and YouTube mainly with some interactions on Linked in

I've been in Instagram a lot lately as thats where i feel my target audience spends ALOT of their time, and so I came across everyone linking their bio's to Linktree, but based on @jbcross22 comment below, i think I will pass for now until I have grown other avenues. :)

I find linktree Helpful because it allows you to post one link on your Instagram bio but multiple links on the landing page I only use the free version of it most of my links analytics are tracked elsewhere so I don't see the need for the Premium Version. But I do find it a helpful tool if you have multiple links you want to promote from your Instagram page.
Thanks so much for the insight, I think i will get a handle on my other accounts and affiliate sign ups before adding another social media forum, at the moment its a big juggling act. Cheers for the reply. :)
