Perserverance & asking for help of others!
Today was a tough one from an IT perspective, trying to link plug ins and write code in HTML, and cleaning cookies!! Who knew that my cookies were dirty in the first place! Any way I was bogged down today in the computer language and technical issues causing me great frustration! The amount of times I just wanted to slam shut the laptop screen was more than I can remember.
But after logging a ticket with the help center, they responded quickly and my editing was enabled, if I had've asked sooner I probably would've saved an hour of my time. So I moved on and encountered my next problem, after googling and youtubing how to just write the code of Google AdSense into my website, I again came back to WA and asked my question in the tool bar and found ValerieJoy's blog which steps through so easily with screen shots what I had to do! For someone who has never done coding and doesn't understand a thing amount HTML, plugins or any other techy savvy stuff that I am basically illiterate in at this stage, finding Valarie's page was a life saver.
This is just 2 instances of about 5 today that caused me roadblocks and frustration. I could see the clock ticking down by the minute, to the hour in which my household would become the kid's domain again and I would need to divert my attention to them. My day had not been very productive at all.
But then in hindsight I was able to overcome those road blocks, I persevered, and am now back on track. And this is predominately due to the help available here. Although my day hasn't been as efficient as I would've liked, since the kid's have been fed and are in bed, I have been scouting further affiliate programs other than the usual, CJ etc (which seem a little harder to come by down here in Australia, suggestions welcome!) And am I increasing my knowledge in monetizing my site.
All is not lost and tomorrow is a new day. Onwards and upwards.

Some days that learning curve can be steeper than others, one of the cool things about WA is the knowledge and support, folks are so positive, and so helpful and site support is awesome.

You are brave delving into coding with little Tech experience.this is my mountain to climb. I have issues with Google Adsense and You Tube videos and I wouldn'n touch coding.I have to admit my weaknesses and move on.I have had those frustrating days.congrats on your courage.
Valarie's step through was so easy to follow!! I don't plan on touching coding again anytime soon thats for sure. I will post the link for you in a reply and see if that can help you out. But I absolutely understand your concern. :)
No worries at all. And if you havent already, you will need to ask Tech Support to enable your editing rights so that you can follow the steps as per suggested.

I remember the days of HTML and coding Nicole. Glad that's over!
