“Wishing is for wishers. Dreams are for dreamers. Goals are for doers” David Cuschiere. Which one are you? Are you a wisher… Are you a dreamer… Are you a doer…? “If there’s a single lesson that life teaches us, it’s that wishing doesn’t make it so.” Lev Grossman. Wishers are people who wish upon a star and think that their wishes will become realities just by the mere act of wishing. Wishers do not accomplish goals; they only make wishes that do not become realities. Let the wishers continue their wishing!

“A dream doesn’t become reality through magic; it takes sweat, determination and hard work.” Colin Powell. On the other hand, dreamers imagine dreams of what they would like to achieve in their lives. However, they remain dreams within their imaginations. They do not act upon them so they are never realized. Their goals are in slumber waiting to be awoken in order to be achieved. So let the dreamers continue their dreaming. Dream on…

“It is time for us all to stand and cheer for the doer, the achiever - the one who recognizes the challenge and does something about it.” Vince Lombardi. Fortunately, doers are the ones that achieve accomplishments because they set goals, create plans to achieve them then they act upon them until they become realities. Doers are achievers because they take the pertinent actions to achieve their goals. Let the doers continue to achieve…

I appreciate your time and your comments.

To our success!

Kind regards,

Nichola

Well I can say that I am a wisher and wishing Is great fun it allows you to use your imagination. Lots of my wishes have come true. I am also a big dreamer and many of my dreams have come true too. Without wishes and dreams you cannot be me a doer. For to do anything you need to use your brain where all wishes and dreams come from. We are all three if you think about it. Keep smiling.

Hi Nichola
Thanks for your post.
I know people can be all the three categories. Many of the current scientific achievements started from dreams. Wishing is not necessarily bad, depending on the circumstance - only if it leads to procrastination and inaction. Think of why past mistakes are avoided. Doers start life from either of the two.
Best of luck.
Cal.

I appreciate the doers get it done, but without the dreams of where you want to be there are no incentives to make you into a doer.

Hi Nichola, it is hard logic. I like to dream and for that split second it is beautiful. But when I wake up it is harsh reality. I find myself wishing for others more than myself.
When it comes to doing it depends on the task, there are somethings I readily jump into those are the things I have a bit of experience on.
When it comes to all this Internet stuff, sometimes doubts get in my way and I tend to procrastinate. One day I will be able to do more than I feel comfortable with. Yes, I do retreat into my comfort zone.

Thanks for the share Nichola,
Best wishes,
Michael

Hi Michael,

I guess in some way or another we are quick to action with things that we like or know how to do but we tend to be hesitant in our action when it comes to things that we are not comforting doing.

You are welcome. Thank you! i appreciate your time and your insightful comment. Much success on your journey here at WA!

Nichola - I consider myself a doer all though I have been accused of not asking for help at times. I believe that is because I always figure that I will figure it out on my own. Like your post very much.

Great post Nichola. I am both a dreamer and a doer. Gotta have the dream before you can do. Dream and do!
My granddaddy, who was a full blooded Indian told me once: "You might as well spit in one hand and wish in the other. See which one gets full quicker."
I am not a wisher...the world is full of them. They are also called, losers!
Thanks
Joe
