I agree that truth should be simple and easy to speak and recognize. However, in our world today, I find myself puzzled over what is "truth" and what is not. Every person has their own version of "truth" and they don't seem to agree. I feel like our whole world has a problem with truth, because we find it hard to recognize any more.

Hi Nichola, I agree with you about the truth it shall set you free. The thing is people are afraid of the truth because there is one thing about the truth, is can hurt others. Nobody ever wants to tell the truth because of what it could cause and what could happen.
That is what it means that the truth will set you free. It will set you free but it has consequences when it does. Human nature thinks telling lies are better but in reality it just makes things worse. Because you just can't keep track of lies told.
For me the truth is better it is just a chance you have to take and no matter what happens you have to say that you had the other person's best interest at heart. The truth is always the best way.
