Pain Can Rust Into Beauty Too!
Quote of the Day:
βPain: Iron left in the rain and fog and dew, with rust is covered - Pain rusts into beauty too.β Mary Carolyn Davies
Meaning of the Quote:
Pain can literally bring you down to your knees, but after it fades away, it has the ability to transport you to a higher height than you were before the pain.
Discussion of the Quote:
You have to own your pain even if you only earn some of it. When you resist your pain, you forego the opportunity to experience your humanness. Also, you lose yourself in the process of fighting your pain.
More importantly, it is not possible to live a life without pain. βNo pain - No gain.β Your pain allows you to fully understand the meaning of being human. When you try to resist the normal experience of your pain, you miss out on the process of its rusting βinto beauty too.β
Final Thoughts:
Normally, no one goes looking for pain, but when it is inevitable there, it provides an opening for something new to enter in your life. βMy pain is a possibility, it is not a liability or a punishment.β Take the opportunity to look at your pain in a different light!
I appreciate your time, comments and likes.
To our success
Kind regards,
Nichola

This is thought provoking post. I am not sure I agree with the "no pain no gain" concept. But work through pain of all kinds is part of life.

I keep saying that when I look into the mirror. Pain can rust into beautyβ¦Iβm still waiting. Lol.
This reminds me of a story about what they do in Japan. If they break a cup or vase they will bind it back together with gold. The cracked let in the light and by fixing we value the difference.
