Ugh. Finding some frustrations

My job most of the time requires my physical presence but I have at least 4 hours a day where I'm not actively doing anything that I can work on my website. the only catch is I either have to lug my laptop around all day or use my smart phone. At first this was great. But I'm finding as I research my blogs to post quality blogs, even if I'm just doing quality content and adding pictures when I get home it's taking forever and frustrating to do anything on my phone. I guess I'm gonna have to start taking my laptop... it's just one more thing to carry and set up when I get there.

Otherwise things are going really well. I'm getting some traffic, although I think my google analytics is set up wrong because it says I'm not but I've had comments on social media about posts. I also have friends spreading the word and asking questions so I'm able to post relevant topics.

The best thing is the help with understanding SEO and how to get google to see me. I've struggled with that a lot. I'm figuring that out in the past. I've learned so much here and I love the support and feed back!! I just wish I had more time at home to work on this. But hopefully that will come as this grows.

Thanks for the support! The thing is I need to do research for most of the posts being as for, not extensively, but some. For instance top of my to-do list is childbirth classes. I can tell you from my knowledge why they are beneficial but I want to link to the places locally that offer classes. That's the time consuming part that I just can't do from my phone. I'll figure it out, but a pen and paper don't solve that problem. Thanks for the suggestions though.

Keep in mind if you are providing local places for childbirth classes that your audience outside of your local area will not benefit from this and may view your site as only a local site. You'll need to be careful how you work this in.

Thanks!

You're welcome.

There is much to take on board here at WA and I know there are some aspects that I have had to go over more than once to understand the process, depending how new your site is analytics takes a wee bit of time to get going,, why not go over that again I know I had to .. hope you have better time of it and perhaps in time you could have a note book not so bulky to carry around

Lugging a laptop my not be your favorite thing to do but it will certainly payoff as the small size of smartphones and even some tablets are prohibitive when it comes to building your website and creating quality content.

Why do you think your Google Analytics is set up wrong? Are you getting an error?

ROCK ON!

Google says I've had no traffic and you're right about the effort will be worth it

How long has your site been up and when did you set up Analytics?

I started a new site (over a month old now) and just set up analytics only last week. I've not worked on the site much yet and have not shared it with anyone. My analytics also tells me I've had no traffic, which makes sense to me at this point?

Could this be a possibility?

Hi there,
You could always go old-school and get yourself a small notebook and a pencil. That way it's not some big ordeal to jot things down. Then when you get home, it will only take a few minutes to type it all into place.
I'll share your hope with you that you're able to get more time available!!!
All the best,
Brian
