What's YOUR Workflow?
Do you have a strategy for working online?
What do you do first?
Are you like me that brainstorm first and then create checklist to complete those tasks?
How do you plan throughout the day to ensure your breakthrough?
So today, I completed task 1
I was excited about trying ChatGPT for the first time to get topic ideas for my niche but unfortunately after 15 minutes, it was still being verified.
Not sure what I did wrong,
Not deterred I visited by target audience group on Facebook and asked three main questions to get some ideas for topics,
I felt quite humbled and appreciative as 50 members responded and I received more than I bargained for.
This is how I plan to use these responses.
- Several lead magnets
- Social media posts, reels and stories
- Image pins in Pinterest
- Blogs on my website
There are just a few of the different directions that I can take, These are the words of my target audience. How amazing is that?
I am still blown away by it all. I also used the opportunity to offer encouragement recommendations and helpful advice.
It was so lovely interacting with my past self.
Now writing several ideas to go forward,
Until next time
Simone

Very productive workflow, Simone! 👍
I get bored quickly, so I try to mix things up. Streaming music while I work helps! 😎🎸
Frank, music is always definitely in my background ;)
It make the task go quickly and the mood is so easy and happy that everything flows so easily
Yeah, super satisfying! What could possibly be better than helping people get well?
I was still in a solo private practice and was faced with the decision of joining a very large group or scaling down.
My plan was to work full time until 70 y/o, so at 68 I think that was a reasonable decision.
I still do medical consults for surgical clearance but most of my time now is being spent working in biomedical engineering and health care informatics.
I completed my Masters in Medical Informatics in 2015. Doing some really interesting work in blockchain for electronic health record security. 😎
Wow, wow and wow!.
You've certainly seen it all, haven't you?
Have you had a successful cases of drop foot?
Yes, Simone, using PT and electrical stimulation, which are fairly effective for foot drop in post-cva populations.
Here's an interesting study from January 2021 on how to measure gait symmetry using a wearable sensor.

You can download the pdf from there. 😎
Frank 🎸
I've copied the link and will read it later on
Frank, what electrical stimulation would you recommend.
Don't worry I know it will be my decision lol
But would you say, accupuncture is useful?
Hi, Simone
I had to fix that link because it was missing the last number and wouldn't load correctly. So ensure it ends with /921.
Many electrical stimulators are available, but physical therapy practices have the best equipment.
Some patients have gotten positive results from acupuncture, but combined PT and electrical stim give the best results.
I did a MRI and the results showed nothing concerning.
So from my research, I made the decision to go the accupuncture route with physical therapy and stimulation.
I am hoping step by step ) all the pun intended) it will be okay
Haha, My workflow is very similar to yours, Jeff! “Close enough for Rock N’ Roll,” right? 😎🎸
Hi, Simone
Well, I was joking to a point, but I find being “over organized” can make me lose interest.
Medicine, of course, is a different story, but that is not a creative endeavor.
Haha, I guess it’s the musical side of me speaking. 😎

I’m board certified in Internal Medicine with a Masters in Biomedical Engineering.
I sold my private practice to Care New England several months back, so I’m semi-retired at 68 years old.
I saw patients 5 to 7 days a week for 40 years and it was very gratifying.😎
No worries
But
Have you ever researched to see if there are others who love the same types of book that you are writing about?
It would be very interesting if you did
There are a lot of Diaspora stories and natural disaster Survival stories. A main theme for these stories (if I can pull it off) is the message that we need to take care of Mother Earth or we won't have a home to come back to or live on. We will have Orphaned ourselves. You can check out Will Smith's Movie After Earth. Mankind had poisoned Earth so badly that we could not live there anymore even though life flourished and the humans in that movie had even lost the knowledge of how to get back to earth. You can also look at present-day Chornobyl in the former Soviet Union. Life Flourishes, but it is all irradiated. We could not safely live there.
That's sounds interesting.
Try and pick out several themes and find out if there are groups that support these themes
That's the first step in seeing if there will be potential buyers for your book when it is finished
I have tried to do some research like Phil suggested in his post about publishing on Amazon. And I might have a small problem. The two stories ready to publish are each part of a larger story and the main characters in them are not human. Amazon does not have a category under Science Fiction for non-human protagonists. so far those two stories, categories are Adventure, Genetic Manipulation, and Post Apocalyptic.
I will keep researching.
JD
Just a suggestion
Type in the same thing you type on Amazon but put it into Google and put the word group at the end
Let's see if you get any results
Such as:
Book Category: Adventure, Genetic Manipulation, Post-Ecological-Apocalyptic, Non-human Protagonists?
I think that putting Ecological in Post Apocalyptic, and Non-Human Protagonist, was what threw it off.
There is only one Science fiction book I know of where the Protagonist was decidedly not humanoid. I believe it was called Orn. It was one of a trilogy.

Simone, after reading your article, I stopped by Phil1944's ChatGPT: Data Extraction and Target Audiences I realized I didn't really know my target audience and didn't know how to find out. Then it hit me to combine the two articles. Here is some of the reply I left for Phil:
So I replicated your search with my niche. Then added
"list the 5 most popular forums for each target audience"
followed by
"same request but facebook groups"
Ho Lee Cow. Batting about .995 on those requests.
Just in case you are interested.
I am
That's fantastic stuff
Thank you ;)
