SORRY I Lied! It is okay to QUIT!
I came across this in my email and I thought it was relevant to share. I hope you find it reflective and positive as I did
1. Quit arguing with people about the same old foolishness! Respect their
position and keep it moving!
2. Quit trying to pull people on your journey who don't want to travel with
you. Either they believe in you and value you...or they don't!
3. Quit complaining about things you can't and won't change!
4. Quit gossiping about other people! Minding our own business should be
a full time job!
5. Quit blaming each other for things that in the big picture aren't going
to matter three weeks from now! Talk solutions...and then implement them!
6. Quit listening to the naysayers!
7. Quit making excuses about why you are where you are or why you can't
do what you want to do!
8. Quit waiting on others to give you the answers....and start finding the
answers for yourself! If what you are doing isn't working for you...then
quit it!
9 Quit settling and start making your dreams a reality! - Quit being afraid
and START LIVING YOUR LIFE! CREATE THE LIFE YOU WANT!
If you want something different than what you have had in the past....you must quit doing what you have done before and DO something different!
START DOING something to create the experience you want!
Numbers 7, 8 and 9 are my favourites.

I am reading Stoic philosophy, and your post aligns well with yesterday´s and today's verse from The Daily Stoic book;

I do agree with you. We should all learn to just mind our own business and thereby avoiding negativity by gossiping.
I'm afraid that gossiping doesn't lead to anything positive! We would be far better off going to help the person we are gossiping about rather than talking about them!
Incidentally, did you write the original email was it something that was sent to you? Either way, some really truthful and valid points in your blog post.

This was sent to me in 2008 by a close friend. I rediscovered it yesterday.
It is so relevant in how we go about living out lives and our promotion positive mindset and growth.

It was much longer than what I posted but I just took out the relevant ones for all to see

Yesterday, I was working in someone's garden all day, it was one of those fairly physical days! I think my weak little body was tired, even at my tender age!!!
The one video a day on YouTube is going okay, so far, I am keeping it up! It's funny how some videos receive more attention than others. One video that I created has just one view, another video has 386 views and most of those views were within two or three days. I will keep posting!
I don't know how much YouTube likes a Christian-type channel; it may go against the narrative. However, there are plenty of Christian channels out there that get lots of views.

Yes, I believe it's too easy to keep looking at figures and get discouraged. But if we keep showing up, whether it is blogging or YouTube, things will happen!

Yes, that's so very true, Simone, I guess some naysayers will turn up at some point! But I won't be communicating with them.
That's very true, I know when I first started out online, I was checking figures far too often. I would have been much better off focusing on content rather than losing valuable time checking stats etc.
I believe that posting regularly is a big battle won!

For some reason, Saturdays have traditionally been my worst performance day, for many years! I'm guessing that it must be because it's the end of the week and I am looking forward to taking a break! Possibly!
I know that when am working on my off-line business, traditionally on a Saturday, people are not working, so they want to talk! That also makes a difference in a kind of a good way!

It's absolutely fine to quit Simone; I quit smoking years ago and I'm delighted that I did.
My wife tells me that she could stop shopping but she's not a quitter.
I particularly like no 1 as I remember that I don't have to attend every argument that I'm invited to.

A lot are too scared to change the bus they travel on, let alone their life.
But change is good. If we don’t change our ahem..clothes..hehe..we smell. The same with life. If we don’t change, our life will start to stink.
