Yesterday was a unique day.
I decided to try something different. I wanted to do an experiment without saying that it was an experiment. So, I posted a miracle question. I was so excited to see the possible answers that I would get
It started off a little disappointing, I wanted to start all over again. Members did not understand what I was asking. I even deliberately didn't respond to the first few posts as I normally did because I wanted all your unique individual answers
Eventually, some members started giving some ace answers. Lisa, Melanie, Alex, Fran, Michael - just to name a few. Thank you all for all those brilliant responses.
I was thinking at first that my question was not clear. All I wanted to ask yesterday was for you to tell me what is your vision for your business. That was all!
Can you see it now?
Is it possible to see what is it you want your business to be in the next 5 years?
Can you see the tools that you want to use that will make your business a success?
What is the stage that your business needs to be before you have to scale it up?
Sadly not everyone can!
From my mom's 5 children, it was only me that knew from the tender age of 3 what I wanted to do when I grew up AND still went out to follow those dreams and Of my 6 children, only 1 stated what she wanted to be when she grew up, the jury is still out if she will follow her dreams
5 Steps to Success
Here are the 5 steps that I created for my business to be successful
Know Your goals
After my ordeal last week, I started to see the world in a different place. I felt so insecure and out of place that the only thing I could do was to keep my mind busy. The first thing that I did was to try to refocus my mind. I just needed that reminder in my mind that I was on the right track
- Is my goal in line with my business?
- Are my goals clear-cut in my mind?
- Do I know how I am going to get there?
Know your Vision
A vision is a vivid mental image of what you want your business to be in the future.
I can see my vision for my business. I have written them down, printed them off, and use tacks to put them on a board on my wall, right in front of me.
Yes, I have just created a mental image to encourage me to focus on my vision each day
- What's your vision?
- Is it clear? Or are they potential setbacks to stop you?
- Is it motivating you
Be a Forward Thinker
That was what the miracle question was asking you to do. Think forward into the future
Now that you have your vision what do you need to take it in the future?
How?
How long will you take?
We know we can't see into the future. No one can but we all need to have an approximate time to do things
- Do you have milestones? Mini goals
- How long did you decide to complete them? 5 years? 10 years
We all know that we will have setbacks, writer's block, financial block, or failure. That should not be a reason not to have our goals, vision, and time-frames for our business
Do you find yourself just going into your car, not checking your petrol, but just driving away on a whim, with nowhere planned to go?

Simone, I started over 12.12.2020, and my goal is 365 blog posts in one year.
I took a new domain and started over this journey.
Now I have just three, three days, three blog posts :)

Timo, I write these blogs to inspire and motivate myself, especially when I'm feeling low. I often go back to reread to give me a boost.

I fully understand that those announcements don't work very well.
I don't get all the notifications myself, but maybe that's going to be all right soon.
I was only able to write a blog post every day on my website for exactly five days. I suddenly fall out of motivation because I don't know what's mine, WHY
I'll keep you up to date as soon as I get my motivation back.
Soon I will have to downgrade Premium+ to back Premium because I have no money anymore.
I think this Promoting WA, MMO Niche, it's a really tough race.
If I knew my passion, I'd make it my website. I really don't know, even though I've tried to investigate, I don't know.
Now I am going to read your every WA Blog posts.
I have only six WA Blog post.
That SEO is difficult for me. I only know that title and first paragraph put keyword :)
I am going to try that five steps tactic.

I'm intrigued. What category in the MMO, were you targeting? Such as moms who stay home, people who are in low paid jobs etc.
What did your research told you?

At first, I thought, low-paid workers.
Then I tried to think about what low-wage workers write on Google.
Okay, and at the moment, my website isn't focused on a specific group.
My idea to promote WA but is that also a narrow audience?

My research is on competing blogs. In tab 5, competing blogs about the same keyword, I compile an article by taking ideas.
A refined audience is what I don't know.

Make Money Online -> Promoting WA -> That is only my knowledge now. I have to think. I want to help people to find a Wealthy Affiliate Platform. I want to guide them. I want to teach how can they build a website.
Is this Promoting WA eventually all the people in the world.
Other Niches I can say what is audience, but Promoting WA I think that this is whole world. Every one wants to better life, better financial situation etc.
Am I totally lost this thing?

Your audience is not the entire world- that is too broad
If I was doing this, I would think about, say, people who are on low paid wage
I would probably type it in Jaaxy or Google or answer the public or Quora to get ideas

You can then write about it doing other research to help you
Please write in your own words, as if you are talking to your friend
ThEN you can talk about all those ideas are not as lasting as Wealthy Affliate, and then give your experience or tell about how it helps you how to start a business, you can also share successful stories of members in WA

I think I understand now, Simone. I do have my goals outlined for success and realize it's going to take some time and effort to get there. That's why I try to break things down into smaller, goals and accomplish them daily.

Thanks, Simone. I understand now. In five years, my vision is to have my own e-commerce business that provides digital products, along with blogging where I'm regularly providing valuable content to my email followers.
This is a great post. Knowing your goals and following through on them is key.
It took me a while to figure out just where I fit in to the grand scheme of things business wise.
Once i figured out that i am a content creator or blogger I felt much more in tune with my business goals.
I may never make a million dollars, but I know that blogging and Affiliate marketing makes me happy so I'm good.

My vision for my business is to begin a position to help others learn to build businesses online.
