What kind of site can I start for a 90-year-old?
I'll keep this short and sweet. I want to start a website for my 90-year-old grandmother and build it out for her. I need some ideas because I'm actually totally lost. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks.

You can make it something like a memoir, a story of her life. I bet the family would enjoy it.
You could kinda of "interview her", ask questions and record what she says and then go home and write it up into a new story each time.
Make a list of what you would like her to tell you about.
where she was born, her family, her home, some early memories, how she felt about her family, what made her happy/sad. Then on as she grows up and the major events in her life.
Wow, I wish I had done this for my mom and dad before they passed away.
Bingo, that's what I've been leaning towards. Might put a spin on it too or incorporate some of the other ideas people have been giving me. I like the idea of interviewing her, so I'll likely be doing that. Thanks for the idea :)
Age means nothing when it comes to personality and what makes a person have that spark in their heart that makes them as excited as a dog when it sees his owner every day. It all depends on what she likes. Try to aim it towards something she talks about or a hobby she loves to do/did. People love talking about past/current experiences.
Maybe Ask her what she likes and consider what would be a good niche out of those interests
That's a cool idea. I have an idea of what hobbies and interests she has, and I like the idea of turning 1-2 of them into niche-sites. I'm going to have to look at the list of interests and then see what I can come up with

Blog her story! My Pops and grandma used to tell me WWII stories and Depression era stories. It was really fascinating stuff. I wish that I had took the time to get them familiar with technology. Connecting with their past is right at their fingertips. We are loosing that generation.
Yup, that's what I've been leaning towards. Growing up she used to share a ton of stories and even to this day she'll speak about all sorts of cool stuff lol. And you're right about society loosing that generation, so I think that's another reason why I'm leaning towards a personal blog-style site.
I agree her hobbies will be something she will enjoy talking to you about and she will always have something new for you to write about
Thanks for the suggestion. I'll have to dig a bit deeper to find out more about her hobbies. I have a good idea of what many of them are, but I'm betting there's so many others lol.
How about issues concerning senior citizens, any hobbies she might have, or maybe she can blog about her life with her family. Maybe a family site or something like that where she could share her experiences and her memories. Just thinking out loud, hope that’s helpful.

- Poetry
- Music, any kind that your grandmother likes
- Cooking / classic recipes
Do you have any ideas of the types of interest that your grandmother has, this will help when finding some direction :)

And yea, I've been busy the last day writing down a bunch of interests, and the list just keeps growing when I go back to it lol.
Right now the main goals are:
. Pay tribute/tell her stories to the world
. Possibly make a little bit of money (maybe via Patreon)
It's just basic stuff really lol. But I'm not really good at monetizing personal blogs and what not, which is why I'm considering Patreon. Right now I'm just brainstorming with different ideas.
