Hitting a Wall
I made it a whole month of regular work, every day. Finished all the level 1 training. I felt good about just pumping out material: 9 posts, 10 pages, increasing WA ranking. This could just keep going forever. Success is bound to be right around the corner. Then I had a hiccup in my personal life (a bit of an understatement unless whales hiccup), and it all came to a grinding halt.
It didn't help that I was working on a 4,000 word article and found out the hard way that I had lost internet and was working offline. Imagine my surprise when my work suddenly saved and half of my update was gone. I just walked away.
I kept getting emails with WA blog updates and video posts. I paid another month of dues. And two days ago day, at 1:00 in the morning, I was sitting on the couch and remembered how much I enjoy writing. I determined then and there, I am going to finish that stupid article if it kills me. So, I dusted off the article I had transferred offline (not making that mistake again), made some changes, and posted the darn thing.
Just like that, it all came back: why I was doing this, why I enjoy my niche, how I could use my online business to fight back against the rest of life. Today, I looked at the Level 2 training that I was in the middle of when I stopped a month ago: Making goals. I checked on a New Question about how much time to spend: Making goals.
Okay, I get it. How do I get over this wall and future walls? I have scheduled a meeting for myself each day in my calendar. 30 minutes of uninterrupted writing time per day. Create an organized habit. Since it is now a meeting on my calendar, I have to show up for the meeting. I have to write. There will be other obstacles in my path, but by then a steady habit will be built with expectations to keep moving, so I will be able to either climb the wall or walk around it.

We all hit walls at some time along our journeys Nathanael!
This is nothing new, when it happens just take a step back and then return to the task at hand with a new perspective!
You're doing great my friend and all the very best for the future!
