Fall Colors
In my neck of the woods, fall starts in about three days. Oh, how I love fall!
If you have been to Atlanta, GA, then you know how green the city is. When you fly into Hartfield Airport, you see all of the city's trees. It is a just breathtaking site.
Now, imagine that same site in a sea of colors! It is truly amazing to see that many lovely, fall colored trees in a city.
If you drive north of the city, you come to the foothills of the Smoky Mountains. Waterfall upon top of waterfall! And the trees! Lots and lots of trees. North Georgia is my home.
Shortly, my most favorite pumpkin farm will open to the public. I want to be there to see those orange and white pumpkins, eat the fresh honey, and ride on the haywagon — great day for any age person.
If you are in the Northern Hemisphere, let me wish you a Happy Fall!

Gosh you are lucky to live in such a beautiful, colorful place. I live in Southern California. Everything looks bleached.
I am SO ready for fall. Stuck here in Memphis, Tennessee and going to a couple of 40-year reunions later this month It has been over 100 degrees the last few days and has not rained in over a month.
If they had the first frost tonite I would sleep in the front yard. Come on Fall!

That's a beautiful picture Myra. Where I live in Queensland Australia , we don't have fall (or Autumn as we call it). The southern states do and they have some magnificent gardens. Jim
