Level 2 training finished
Hello everyone, I still feel like the newbie here at WA, but I am so happy to report that I just finished level 2 training. I am very happy about it as I definitely gained a better understanding of how this whole thing is supposed to work.
I just would like to quickly introduce myself and talk a little bit about my chosen niche and website. I am a fine art and portrait photographer (I photograph people, create art and exhibit and teach workshops) living in Saint Paul, MN and I have been looking for ways to earn extra income. The thought of getting hired and having to answer to a boss terrifies me, so I think I am an entrepreneur at heart. :)
I have looked into network marketing, but the thought of recruiting does not appeal to me. I was browsing on pinterest in the middle of the night (bad habit!) and looking how to create a second income stream, a side hustle, passive income etc. and came across a pin that talked about WA. I instantly new that this was something I wanted to look into and here I am.
As far as my niche, it took me a while to decide, but I stuck with my initial thought. I wanted to create a website all about plastic free living. It is something I feel passionate about, but I am not very good at myself yet. It's something I consider a problem in our society and for the world and I would like to be part of at least trying to change, make an impact and have as many people as possible follow along and hopefully be inspired. So, here we go, my website is all about plastic free living and so far I have published 5 articles www.myplasticfreeliving.com. I am happy with my articles so far, but I still want to put more effort into visuals (take my own photos) and work on the design.
I can already tell that I will have endless content to write about and I can think of so many products I would like to promote, and more importantly would LOVE to promote.
My journey thus far with WA has been very positive. I started out with Level 1 and then dropped the ball for a while over the holidays, but picked it up again and have been working nearly everyday. My plan is to devote up to 20 hours a week to this new endeavor so I still have time to work on my photography. My future goal is to start a photography blog in addition to my plastic free living blog.
I love going through the training and especially love that it really takes you through every single detail and step (Thank you to the founders for going through it slowly and putting so much effort into it). I am not an online or techology person, so I need lots of help and I am so grateful that I found this community to help me with pretty much anything.
My goal it so start making money after six months of consistent effort. If it happens sooner, great! If it happens later, my goal is to not give up. :) I am glad that there is a positive, helpful and encouraging community to help me with these goals.
Follow me along and I will make sure to do the same.
