Hi, how is everyone doing? I have been with WA for a few months and just wanted to get some feedback on something. It honestly takes me a very long time to work on one blog pos

Great question. It does get easier with time. However, what will help is if you prepare templates for Reviews, How To Posts, Educational Posts etc. These templates should be like an outline where you change the titles and write content under them.

It's the researching that takes the most time for me. Like gathering pictures, and information on the subject. I use Notepad to keep track of all the URL's to material that I need. Like YouTube videos and articles.

Don't try to be a perfectionist. Good enough works as long as you provide valuable content.

Hope this helps.

Edwin

Thank you so much! Yes, I can see how a template would work. I sort of have one: 5 headings, around between 1000 and 1500 words, but I might need a more detailed one. The research is a lot of work, but I do enjoy it. I am sure the more we all get into it and the more posts we write, the better it will get. It's just really hard for me right now to get more than one post a week. I know it's better than none, but I would like to be able to pull off at least two if not three a week.

Yes for sure. Just like any other training the more you do it the lesser difficult it becomes. After 241 WA blogs and 270 blogs on my websites. believe me. I did it for less than one year because I checked in my account setting when registered it was June 29. In less than a year I have 511 blogs! Better believe it. Do it each day so that you will have greater results of improvement. I wish you the best WA journey. If you want proof you can ask for it anytime.

Yes,

With practice it gets easier and above all better quality wise. To begin with, I really pushing to reach 600 words, now, metaphorically speaking I "type" the hind legs off a donkey!.

I find that when a topic is difficult, like entering a new niche or writing a new type of article on a topic I am not so familiar with it can take me considerably longer maybe 16 to 18 hours to complete a blog post, but, by the time I get into the swing of it and "sus out" the topic, gain knowledge I find I can get an article done in 4-5 hours and ready to publish.

I'm afraid I no tips on efficiency, I just do it!.

Thanks so much!

Yes, like anything practice will improve your abilities. If you put 'content' in the question box up the top of your profile page, it should bring up lots of training and blogs. Jim

Thanks for the feedback! It’s just nice to hear other people talk about it.

I think it gets easier. After a while doing the things in some way you pick up on some aspects that can be changed. Since you have been writing for 6 months, assess what can be improved in your workflow to writing a blog post. That would be my first tip.

On another note, structuring the blog post before starting to write seems to be a great way to avoid unnecessary planning afterwards. If you are preparing the structure of the content before writing, keep doing it because it's saving you another week haha.

Finally is the time. Nothing beats more the writing process than interruption. If you are going to write, set 1 hour of full writing, no distractions and if you feel tired just stop but don't get distracted, keep that hour of writing clean.

That is what I would say. Writing doesn't get better with time, it is more the process that gets better.

Thanks! This is helpful. I did read that you should set a time and just write without interruption. I am trying to get in the habit of doing it everyday. Hopefully, it will become more and more a habit.

Can you help me figure out what this message means?
Create an ads.txt file for 1 site
expand_less
To prevent severe impact on revenue, download an ads.txt file then up

Ask Marion Black or have a look at her profile - I pretty sure she had training for it on her profile. This kind of question I direct at site support as they are there to help you with all such technical issues and can if you ask nicely do it for you.

I've had them do few very techie things that I am not capable of or afraid to do in case I blow up my site.

Great! Thanks so much!

My pleasure

Hi - I asked Site Support to add it to save having to use a plugin

I had the same, had to download a plugin for that to fix it.

Ok, thanks. I guess I download the plugin in Wordpress? Man, I am such a beginner. :)

Which plugin?

I'm still learning too, it's a never-ending process :)
Yeah the plugin is called Ads.txt Manager. You download it to wordpress and then have to add the information google adsense asks you to.

Thanks so much for the help!

You are welcome!
