Thankful for the online world

Hi everyone, I just wanted to reach out to the community here since all of us are pretty isolated at the moment. It has been difficult to keep up with work and my site and kids and life and everything else. On top of it, my husband lost his job, actually he lost his job in the fall already (yeah, it's been a great year so far:)).

Fortunately he has two part time jobs teaching online, but the current situation in this world are making his prospects even harder. Tough times! And as a self employed photographer and artist, well, we are all in the same boat.

I just wanted to know how people have been affected by the current situation? I hope everyone is well and healthy and getting work done on their sites and keeping busy hopefully working from home. Isn't it very fortunate that we have access to this place and can build our business despite everything? I have never been so greatful for all the access we have through places like WA and the whole online world. It's no substitute for face to face contact with people, but it sure is a gift right now.

I have no idea how everything is going to affect the online businesses since the whole economy will be affected, but it seems like this would be a good time to get as much content out as possible. Any thoughts, advice or words of encouragment? I would love to hear from people.

My goal for today is to finally, finally finish Level 3 (Yay!), hopefully start with Level 4, publish some content and brainstorm for more content this week. We will see! I am not giving up! Not now. Not ever!

Last but not least, I wanted to share with you something. My father, who lives in Germany, shared with this text with me. He didn't write it and I don't know who did, but I find it so beautiful and encouraging. It has nothing to with affiliate marketing, but I thought we could all use some calming and encouraging words right now. It is originally in German and I translated it pretty quickly, but here we go:

"It could be that the ships in Italy's ports will be empty for the next while but it may also be that dolphins and other marine life can finally get their natural habitat back. Dolphins are spotted in Italy's ports, the fish are swimming in Venice's canals again!

It could be that people feel locked up in their houses and apartments but now they finally sing together again, help each other and experience a sense of community. People sing together!

The restrictions of air traffic means deprivation of personal and professional freedom for many but it also means that the earth can breath deeply, the sky regains color and children in China can see the blue sky for the first time in their lives. Look at the sky today, how calm and blue it has become!

Closing schools will be an immense challenge for many parents but it may also be that many children will have a chance to be creative on their own, act more independently and slow down. And parents can also get to know their children on a new level.

It could be that our economy is suffering tremendous damage but it may also be that we are finally realizing what is really important in our lives and that constant growth is an absurd idea of ​​the consumer society. We have become puppets of the economy. It is time to experience how little we actually need.

This is very overwhelming but it also may be that this crisis is a chance for a long overdue change:
•it lets the earth breathe
•brings the children into contact with long forgotten values
•enormously slows down our society
•can be the hour of birth for a new form of togetherness
•reduces the mountains of garbage at least once for the next few weeks
•and shows us how quickly the earth is ready to start its regeneration if we humans take it into consideration and let it breathe again.

We are shaken awake because we were not ready to do it ourselves, because it's about our future. It's about our children's future!"

I feel encouraged in that my niche is about sustainability, simplicity, plastic free living, minimalsim etc. I feel like it might be a great topic to write about especially right now! Thanks everyone! I just wanted to express my thoughts and share this with you as I have been a bit absent these last few days, but hopefully will be back everyday again!
