My Wife Being Bullied
Had every attention of posting a blog today and introducing myself and family to the WA community but that has changed.
I do spark on weekends delivering groceries to people, asked my wife if she felt like going as she still battling cancer. She went with me and even got out help me carry light bags as had 236 item delivery. That customer decided to make fun of my wife and the excact comment was
"Why don't you get your ugly freak azz back in woods where you belong." To avoid a fight or possibly a weapon pulled on me I said nothing.
My wife is severly depressed half of time, and when she told me when she went out in public she being made fun of I didn't believe her.
She was made fun of as a kid and bullied, a lot of that is coming back and she doesn't trust no one. Now she saying never be seen in public again and came home deleted all her social media accounts as someone bullied her on Facebook about her looks.
My wife Jannette is a strong woman and would give the shirt off her back to anyone in need. Yes, she had stroke 3 years ago, that didn't stop her she recovered and she will beat this cancer.
Jannette was a member with WA and blogged for years was very successful until Radition and Chemo kept her from being able to focus. The cancer started in her colon, went in readmission and came back with small place in colon, breast, and masses on her kidneys. Yes, she has no hair, only 105lbs at 5'7 but this is cruel to make fun of her.
Me, the Kids and Grandkids trying to be the best support system for her but all the negative that has happen to her as far as she can remember haunts her. I don't see any sign of self harm out of her but staying hidden because of bullies worried as always heard from others its not good stay by yourself especially when that person is depressed.

So sorry to hear that, Marty! All you can do is pray for people like that and hope that someday they learn about being a kinder person.
People can be so cruel. My daughter has crohns, and had 1/3 removed 10 years ago. She now has a huge hernia on one side of her tummy. It makes her look lopsided and I heard some people in the grocery store making remarks about it. She is caught in the middle, the doctors won't remove the hernia till she loses weight, and she can not lose weight because she is depressed and eats more than she should. We do not live in a fair and kind world. Stay strong for her, reassure her and give her your love, sometimes that is all we can do.
So sorry Florence, you are right though giving her love and reassurance is very helpful.

Stay strong for your wife Marty, and absolutely nobody deserves to be bullied, but this is the world we live in. People that have some sort of weakness or that tend to have their own demons, tend to lash out on others through bullying to try to prop themselves up.
Here at WA, we are a very strong, helpful, and friendly community as we have never allowed bullies or trolls to take part in discussions. It's not how we do business, and not how humans should operate.
