One For The NEW & EXISTING STARTER MEMBERS

This is a success post of sorts, not because of financial gain; although i'm doing pretty well.

This post is to celebrate something that I learned & can now admit, that many newcomers may be experiencing, which leads many to fall away from WA as I did 2 years ago.

One of the main reasons I walked away from WA even after securing 3 referrals within a matter of weeks, was my lack of 'overstanding' the value of the platform.

This in itself is a very important lesson and one that many who are 'unconciously competent'on this platform sometimes take for granted; and no doubt i'l become one soon enough. However, whilst my mind is still in the homeymoon phase of my experience here I can share this with the veterans and hopefully encourage the newbies, so here goes.....

WA is Overwhelming!

I dont say that to be critical, I say that to be truthful. Many will say that the training will dissipate alot of the overwhelm, but it rarely does when you dont understand what you're training for.

Many people join this platform to make money; when their main goal is this, it can be hard to comprehend the vast amount of information needed to process, in order to make 'the money'.

I was lucky (or so i thought) I came to WA with a site that was already indexed and pages of content, although I didnt know that at the time I was miles ahead of where I thought I was, but I was unconciously incompetent (i didnt know that didnt know)!

When I joined WA I didnt realise I was training to build a business, I assumed I was training to make money and when WA showed me otherwise I was confused and dismayed. So I walked away.

2 Years self education.....

...Only to come right back where I started. I dont regret the 2 years, I made money a different way. But what I do regret is the misunderstanding of what I was becoming a part of.

WA is like a sorority/fraternity (although we dont have those in the UK) i've watched enough movies to know how valuable they are. The two most important aspects of the platform is the community and the training, it took a long time for me to comprehend this.

The biggest lesson i've taken in this past month is "you are being trained to manage a business not a website" it took going away and building a modest one, to finally come to terms with what WA had in store for me all along.

New Members

So for all the newbies asking if or why they should go premium on wealthy affiliate, I say this - I totally connect with your question. I was once looking for the answers to a question, buried deep within the training (much of which I didnt have access to, because I was a Starter Member).

I learned that, It is not about the money you will make; this is secondary to what you will learn. A university degree does not guarantee you a career, but you are guaranteed to be in debt!

The investment here at WA does guarantee a 'real world' education and if applied, will guarantee you a Business. What do businesses take? Answer: Investment.

What do businesses Make?

Money

and on this occasion, your Overhead/Investment is $49 a month

plus the cost of a .com domain purchase

video editing/screen recording software (if needed)

& a ppc ad budget (if & when necessary)

compared to a traditional business - saving upwards of $20k+ per year

Now don't get me wrong, an online business can come into much higher overheads - but this is when you expand and begin delegating (oh the dream!)

I know someone who pays out 20k per month in delegation expenses for her business, but she earns over 100k per month. If this or something similar is your goal, start here and start now.

Conclusion:

I honestly don't know how long its going to take for you to see results!

But I do know this....

if you view your time at WA as the stepping stone to owning and running your own legitimate business, you will put the time in and the money will come because effort + consistency = reward

Ps* the starter membership is 100% free for as long as you want it. But Limitations = limited results 😉
