The WA affiliate link I have tried to use on my website, but it won't link to WA for them to create an act and log in. So I want to make sure I get right before I buy 2500 cards
That I need to learn how to do, too. I watched the vid but I am not getting it. Maybe just old and dense

Are you trying to create something like this? I can help, if you'd like....no problem for you....my friend!
I was wanting to create a link to my blogs. I thought that might help drive people to the WA website
I was under the impression they would have tho signup tho gain access...even with direct tho blog?

This pulls up your entire list of blogs....??????
I will take all the help I can get with Facebook. I need it. And the link takes people directly to the blogs
Will you look at my website http://assistingfuturestars.com...it will be on my About Me page
The link to your blogs works like a charm....but where are you social media 'share' buttons so people can share your articles on FB, twitter, etc.?
Some good ideas here, I was also thinking about business cards! Thanks for the question and tips
You can also get your business cards with a link to your website, when people visit your website they will click on your WA banners.
Hi MsDebbie, if you have a WA review section on your website I would actually give them the url to that. If you use an affiliate link cloaker (see my blog on that issue) you can have a nice and concise url. Mine is http://roberts-reviews.org.uk/wa. The card needs to tell them why they are going there, such as free websites, great community, free account etc.
As a side note, the link I show above takes people straight to the wa signup page. It is my affiliate link shown at the top of our profile page but adjusted by the affiliate link cloaker I use on my website. The text on the business card would need to say what people should expect to see and why if they use your link
Hi,
You can use the link from your WA Affiliate Program. I tried it and it works. Go to the "Affiliate Program" and click on the "WA Affiliate Program". You will be taken you the Affiliate page where your Affiliate Link is located. Be sure to include all of the code otherwise it will not work.
If you feel uncomfortable in giving out your WA code or having it printed on a business card, you can use the website where the WA Free Starter link is located.
Good Luck!
George

Check for an edit button down to the bottom of the page, scroll down. Some themes only let you edit the static page this way :)
Your best bet is to get in touch with the support team for this particular theme you purchased. They will be able to answer any questions you might have about it.

What does it allow you to do on your website?
I'm not sure - you can edit stylesheets from the menu using Appearance-->editor anyway (as I have done). I'm sure the Wordpress pro makes this easier but if you know a little bit of coding you can do it yourself. It's actually very easy if you know what you are doing. Nevertheless, thanks for you pointing this out. Glyn
Well, that's my issue. I don't have a clue what I am doing. I still have yet to take photos of the products.
It actually has a stylesheet editor built in, and an image editor etc. Probably all on-line resources - I haven't looked at it too much, because I use my own collection of editors
I think that comment came out not the way I wanted. I do not know anything about websites except what I have learned so far - which has been a lot. I've deleted two website attempts and have been having fun playing around with it. But I really do not not have a clue what I am doing.
I once paid over $ 1,500.00 to have a website in the built in the past but the website was never completed. People could never use the checkout. Customers would call me for orders which made my husband mad.
Then I went to a website that advertised websites being built for $ 500.00. They built it for $500.00. But would not host it without another $ 1,500.00 which was never mentioned earlier.
So I am became a DIY kind of person. This is what I needed.
Wordpress pro, from what I understand (as explained on their site, http://store.wordpress.com/plans/premium/ ), is a supersized version of wordpress, allowing you to edit stylesheets, images and just about anything else you want, all from your own site. And all for a $99 subscription each year.
Go to the site and read about WordPress Pro, aka WordPress.com Premium. It may be just what you are looking for.

That's what I needed to know! Thank you! I like the format but I need to make adjustments to make this work right. I didn't want to buy something and be stuck with something I couldn't use.

Once I moved my siterubix website over to the domain site, I was no longer able to access the dashboard.
It could be just temporary - how long has it been since the transfer? If problem persists, I would submit a help support ticket.
I ended up deleting it and starting over. Good practice though. I am navigating things a lot faster.
Didn't transfer properly or you just need to wait 20 mins to 1 hour for it all to be set up properly. I know I was worried on one of my transfers but after some time everything was OK. Hope the same for you. Glyn

Am I able to build an actual website with retail sales?
You can put up a blog site anywhere, but here the object is to set up a monetized website. You can (and should) blog post regularly, but using the keywords and other things we learn here to SEO your site and bring people who want to buy what you have to offer.
Deborah, As far as I know, you can build whatever kind of Website you want other than about bad or vulgar things LOL. Hope this helps some. Start with a Domain you buy, or the Free SiteRubix Domain. Blogging is just extra things you can do.
Michael
