I ran an analysis in Bing and it shows duplicate titles <h1>. The 1st title is my website title and the second title is the post title. How do I fix this?
Thanks
I'm not sure I understand. It is the same error for all of my post. All of them have a different title and corresponding permalink. The name of my website is not in the post.

There should only ever be one H1 tag on a page and, in a correctly coded theme, that will be your post or page title. That happens automatically (in a correctly coded theme) so there's nothing you need to do for that.
What that means, though, is that when you are writing the body text in your posts or pages, and want to create headings and sub-headings, you should use H2 and below (H3, H4, etc). Don't use H1 in the body text of your page.
For your existing pages or posts, if you change any H1 headings in the body text to H2 that should correct the problem.
You need to end up with a structure like this:
H1 = Post/Page title
H2 = first major heading
H3 = first sub-heading
H3 = next sub-heading
H2 = second major heading
H3 = next sub-headling
H3 = next sub-heading
Let me know if I need to clarify anything!
Cheers,
Martin.
Hi Martin,
I have only used H3 and paragraph in my post. I have double and triple checked them. Does that mean that there is a problem with the theme? Or is there any other possible problem and solution?

Hi WA team,
I made a drop-down menu but it shows as "Expand Child Menu" on the actual website. I want to rename by taking out the word "child". Can I do that? And if so how?
When creating the menu, you have place what you want in secondary in the menu underneath, but slightly to the right.
it will attach then, does that make sense?
go to your wordpress dashboard... click appearance and then menus.
Find the menu you want to work on, click the drop down on the title, and change it as indicated in the red circle.
after you change, dont forget to save the menu.
I tried that too, but nothing in my menu options say expand child menu. I can't see it to change it. Under menu structure it says the menu name is Top Navigation.
I forgot to mention that I only see it on my mobile device. It displays without it on my laptop.
It may be your theme. He might need to check that out. The mobile and desktop should still reflect the same thing. If they do nights there must be a mobile version of the menu that you need to edit
If that is the case the change needs to happen in the theme itself
