The process seems simple, but when I hit the delete button, I'm getting an error message.

If you try to delete a widget from the Appearance>Widgets area in your WP back office, there can sometimes be an error, but if you delete a widget via the Customizer, I think it removes it just fine without any issue.

Ok, Thanks. I'll try it.

Try also to delete your cache often! I am updating my about me page and it always seem not updated, until I don't refresh the cache!

Thanks.

What error message are you getting? Can you provide screenshots and the URL for your website please?

willieglennjr.com

It is saying, there was an error, missing parameters.

You may want to reach out to site support with this.

No you have a drop down option in most themes but that is as far as it gets

Thank you.

Which website and what menu? Yeah, if you are giving the option to open it in a new tab. However, if related to your website, and internally, I choose not.

When you go inside of Wordpress, you can put things across the top of your website, and in order to do that you have to add it to the Menu, and as you are doing that, you suppose to have the option to have that website or whatever you added to the menu open in a new window when someone clicks on it so it won't take them away from your blog, I'm not seeing that option unless theirs something I'm doing wrong.

What about Screen options > Show Advanced menu > Tick link target

That's in Appearance > Menus

So now when you add your categories, you may choose to open them in a new tab

It sounds to me like you want your categories in your menu to open in a new window, I do not think that is an option, as these are intended to be linked to posts/pages on your website.

Let me know if this makes sense.

Have you seen the image above?

Thank you.

You are most welcome.

Please look at the images above, there's an option for you to do it, if you'd like your categories open up in a new tab.

It is an option.

Is that theme specific or a WordPress feature? I love learning new stuff lol.

Any wordpress site :)

Appearance > Menus.

Screen options > Show Advanced menu > Tick link target

awesome and thank you!

I'm trying to use the Gravatar platform, what password do I use? Everyone I use, they are saying that its the wrong one.

Hi, I'd also follow on the email you registered your Gravatar with.

This also may be useful

Thanks.

Gravatar uses the password from your wordpress.com account. If you have not set up a wordpress.com account you can do that when setting up Gravatar.

Thank you.
