Six Months - Progress

I am wearing two new badges today. The first is my shiny new 6-month badge, the second is my shiny new Premium Plus Crown, courtesy of the the Black Friday Special and the training and progress from following the Wealthy Affiliate Program.

When I started at Wealthy Affiliate, I had an idea of what I was getting into. But my idea was drowned out by the fire hose of training and information that was opened up to me with the Premium Plan. I diligently paid the $49.00 per month, consuming more training than I thought possible in my limited amount of available time. This was a personal investment in myself that is starting to pay off.

My blog has experienced a number of modifications based on the input of all of the great people within these walls. Google has bestowed my little niche with 4 of the top 6 positions, including my LinkedIn, and Twitter (X), accounts above the SemRush entry.

All of this is interesting considering that my traffic is still under the 20-40 people range. That has improved over the last couple of weeks thanks to Jay and his Facebook and Pinterest posting training using what I affectionately call "Lexi" (Perplexity) and/or "Chatty" (ChatGPT). This wasn't the whole training class but it was something that I was truly missing.

If you haven't seen these, this class and the one that proceeded it, I truly recommend that you do.

This slight pickup in traffic and a new Amazon Affiliate Link to Laptops, Portable Power Supplies, and a Backpack (promoted on Pinterest, FB, IG, LinkedIn, and Twitter) using Jay's AI prompts has led to earning my first revenue along this journey. It has been an exciting first 6 months.

This first revenue coincides with the Black Friday Special. Knowing that I was paying $49.00 a month, it was a no brainer to take that $49/month and turn it into The Premium+ Plan for $497. 10 months of Premium payments = 1 year of Premium+.

But the icing on the cake was that my Premium plan was $297. I originally planned on that going into the weekend. My promotions and sales made doing the math even easier. I now have a crown!

I am committed to progressing even further in 2024. The Business Hub, AI Content Creation, expanded Jaaxy Use, are all great items to look forward to. But most of all, the community of people that have gathered here makes Wealthy Affiliate a success.
