Day 3 - I'm a premium member! Also launched my first website!
I did it. I actually went premium. Okay, so I get this is an accomplishment and I'm going to get all the great benefits from it, but I'm kind of nervous too. Without going into too much detail, I have enough for the next year or so, but I'm currently not employed. I am staying with family, so I'm not at risk on being on the streets. However, no one in my family knows I'm doing this. No one knows that I'm trying to make money through affiliate marketing. Right now, I feel that it's best not to tell them now because I know for the most part they won't support me. They would think it's a scam and that I'm wasting my time and money. So until I have something to show for it, I'm keeping this to myself. I don't want to lie or keep secrets, but I don't want anyone to discourage or stop me from doing what I want to do with my life either.
With that said, I've also launched my first website! It's going to be a kawaii lifestyle blog, so it's going to be all about cute things inspired by Japan's take on cute. I know it's not a very common niche for affiliate marketers, but I know there's a following for this around the world. However, I've noticed other kawaii bloggers use their site more as a hobby than as a business, which isn't a bad thing. I don't want to just do this for a hobby. I want to take a subject I'm passionate about and make a living out of it. I want to go beyond what most do and be an influencer in the kawaii community. I want to be the person others can trust with what I can recommend and give inspiration.
So yeah, I've made a big step in my business and stepped outside of my comfort zone, but I know if I hang in there, I'll be able to be where I want to be.
