Thought of the Day - June 23
“If sleep is the apogee of physical relaxation, boredom is the apogee of mental relaxation. Boredom is the dream bird that hatches the egg of experience.”
- Walter Benjamin, “The Storyteller”

I am never been bored, as far as I know, so I need to relax my mind?
Loes, I'm a big fan of Cal Newport. I tend to spend my "boredom" time in deep thinking mode. :)

Loes, you are just like my wife. Always busy doing something. You need to relax your mind by meditating. Just find a quite place and make your mind go blank for 15 or 20 minutes a day. It really does work. You probably won't do it because you don't think you have the time. Again, just like my wife. Ha ha
:) I do meditate Larry, but I do not call that boredom, I see boredom with other people and kids, they sit down not knowing what to do and get real nasty humored. That's in my opinion boredom. And that is something I don't know what that is.
Thanks for the link:)
