How An Online Community Like WA Can Keep You Up to Date in Unexpected Ways

I just found out I was 11 year out of date, the Linkedin platform had reformed!

I was one of the early joiners who had the very embarassing experience of having had Linkedin email blast every contact in my email list without my permission, sending begging letters in my name asking them to join my Linkedin account OMG so embarassing, many of whom eg authority figures you'd never dream of asking, I'd had to contact afterwards and say 'please ignore that request, it wasn't me'...but that was only closing the door after the horse had bolted and I never again looked at Linkedin, until today when a WA member wrote a glowing article and I thought, hold on, has something changed...

Anyone who had used Linkedin earlier would not really have had it on their radar at all!

I also saved over $2.5k on 'shiney new objects' for AI education in one week alone!

As I touched on in another blog, before I became active in here recently, no one had reached me concerning getting into AI even though everyone seemed to be talking about it, for better or worse.

• I didn't know where to start, hadn't a clue and now I've just built and app and had all sorts of experiences and amazing results with multiple AI
• And I've had a broad exposure to AI to the point I can now spot a system or product or course and evaluate it properly whereas a couple of months back I'd maybe have thought I needed this or that....

So in addition to the WA training which integrates AI in multiple and various ways, it is this online community using and sharing and evolving over some years already [possibly uniquely so in that regard] on multiple forms of internal and external AI, that is a window and portal and another layer that is possibly priceless.

Clearly there are many ways folks can leverage to keep up to date online, a quick glance online shows what some of these are, and you will be aware of others too:

....but when I read through this list of current digital practices, I see a gap for a community like this one, evolving and using and sharing their experience over some years already by 2026, with the earlier and latest AI and not 'walled gardened' in their use of it.

Communities dynamics are like shifting ecosystems!

Some of the valentine blogs today speaking to the work and dynamics of a good relationship sort of remind me of the broader context of the directions a community can go too - up or down and anything in between and always unpredictable!!! Communities are definitely not always a rose garden, and my personality is not actually a raving 'community' or 'fam' type person at the best of times, so there's no one way to participate here... but this community sure can keep you up to date!!
