Original Creator the Genius Hypnotist vs Me vs AI

With 115 hours of training from a nationally accredited School of Hypnotherapy founded by one of the greatest hypnotists/hypnotherapists of all time , why am I not writing a book on Homeostasis and the subconscious mind, especially when I could simply prompt AI to write it and use amazon publishing to make myself an author in minutes, in a shorter time than it takes to do even one module of learning, or one hypnotherapy session either as or with a client!

Experts Academy vs A Little Knowledge is a Dangerous Thing?

Old wise sayings were born out of humankind's experience, best not ignored. Whereas Experts Academy, the concept behind much internet content, heavily flogged by Brendon Burchard over a decade back, teaches that you just have to know one thing more than the person you are writing the course for... for example in the image below the newbie hiker is running along the dangerous area blissfully unaware of the surroundings and signs and is holding a 'beginners guide to hiking' which she probably published herself or bought online, as she invites you to follow her and take her advice some wonderful sunny day...where again she didn't even prepare for weather changes...

So, would you reailly like to be buying that course/book/article/advice from the person one step ahead of you or from the experienced person, or the trained expert with track record, originator, who knows all the ins and outs, the tweaks, the pitfalls...? I would prefer to be pointed to real expert sources! But with the ease of book publishing as well as blog publishing and ads on google and socials especially facebook groups, it's getting harder and harder to find the real experts. Question is, are we blocking them. And we may not even have thought about that...!

Is there a Work-Around?

Well yes - embrace your new passion, share your results, your journey, your understanding - but PLEASE include references! To that you could add, please continue learning too...which is easier if you have the references yourself.

References increase Credibility, Trust, Authority:

• References to real experts
• References to other opinions
• References to real and credible resources

... now you are already increasing credibility and being more helpful. Now you are no longer posing as the expert, now your 5 minutes knowledge and success have a place in the big picture, and then your personal experience becomes expertise...over time

Knowing where you, my newly found 'authority' source, fits into the bigger picture, I can now go check and follow up sources, see for myself how to understand things, see if there's more information you missed or left out, and ensure we are not in a 'blind leading the blind' situation, or deceived into thinking you actually knew what you were talking about when writing your blog/book...and generate trust.

The Answer to my Question & Where I think the opportunity is:

1. Today, the AI encountered in my travels speak of the flooding and gaming of the internet, something that hasn't yet happened to AI, they say, but likely will as humans tend to amplify noise. <--bots saying that!
2. Discerning blogs and experienced folks on this platform mention again and again the big shifts away from 'noise' to quality content...a shift in content and the internet.
3. And amazon authors on this platform inform me that so many books are being published now that amazon has had to cap the number any one person can publish in a day [!].

So why do I not write a book on Hypnosis, Success, Homeostasis when I have so much training and experience?!

I choose to direct people to the original sources, the experts.

I won't pretend to be the expert, though with hundreds of hours training in many many areas that may look like expertise to some, but not to me...having done degree and phd level in some areas too... I know better than to pretend to be 'expert' in my interests

... one course doesn't make you an expert. One success doesn't either.

And it gets weird to see folks pretending to be expert out there...and tv programs and readers are all beginning to subtly hit back on this.

Respect & Integrity for work and property of others

I have great respect for originators, original content, plagiarism is something I detest as it steals and goes against integrity and you would lose your degree at uni for it. But there's still huge scope for introducing folks to expertise, reviewing it, making it more accessible.

However, if you decide you want to 'be the author' or 'the expert', then please don't try to silence anyone who questions your approach, someone who may know more than you do on the subject, because questions need to be asked on approaches especially now with AI.

And below is the google search AI overview of what Mental Bank is, but - as I said - I didn't learn about this online, on google, on fb, from a blog, I trained in it and that's why I look at folks at something 5 minutes then publishing for others as expert and see issues with over complication or omissions etc and why people really need to be given access to look at the original source behind the big online gurus and the small and aspiring ones!

Final Thoughts: Introduce, Explain, Share, & Know your place

There is a place and opportunity online for whoever can introduce you to something useful, anyone who helps you become aware or understand or discuss, but who also leaves it open to you progressing on solid ground with original creators and experts [and those experts are not always official or accredited, the old timers and original creators often weren't] - that is how I think it should work.

And while Kappas family have some of the best understanding and resources on subconscious change, behaviour and success, I'd not recommend his one video on nutrition - to that I would apply the same principles of seeking original and better sources if nutrition is what you are after, it is not a cult of personality.
