If you can get the embed link from the video you can use it for free.

if the video is for the public domain, or get clearance from the owner.

I use my own videos all the time and I have used others in the past and as long as the link is public you can use it. The end of video may roll into others a person can click into but they won't start playing automatically.

YesMorna, If they let you embed a link it is OK. The problem is it usually has links that can take people from your website. Moritz has a tutorial on how to limit the length of a youtube video.

Yes. Just cut & paste the URL of the video onto your web page. Wordpress will automatically embed it and it'll be the correct size.
