How Long is a Piece of String?
The simple answer to the question according to those who know a lot about strings is; "It depends."
But again could it have something to do with the thickness of the thread, the size of the thread ball or maybe the color of the string?
We use these kinds of expressions all the time, like the size of the dog in the fight or is it the size of the fight in the dog?
You see all these have nothing to do with the string or let alone the dog. We just enjoy the terminologies, laugh at them, scratch our heads as we rethink over them. You see, all these have to do with ourselves as the human species.
It's all to do with our resolve to attain success or lack of it. Others give up after a few attempts, in our relationships, careers, businesses and blame it on the next person. If we can not identify the person, blame the economoy, government and so forth.
I suppose the question really is, "How long are you willing to search and attain success?" This then complicates it a bit, what is success after all? Is it raising a family, getting a college degree, discovering the next wonder drug, mending a broken relationship, attaining a 1st page Google Ranking, a new skill? The qusetions are too many.
Without prescribing the answers, I think among them will be, urging each one of us to work on our online businesses, write and post that post, cause a smile on someone, assist the little guy, and enjoy the ride. Maybe, just maybe we can all have an idea as to how long that piece of string really is!
If you still prefer to ask what success is; my simple answer is; "It depends."

The string is as long as I want it to be, you see when I cut it that was the length I needed and since I am the one cutting it, I must be the decision maker moving forward.
The scientific definition point wise is infinite (#of points in a line) and that is what our dedication should be.
the string is as long as it needs to be, but it always goes from one end to the other! The only way you can answer this question is to start at one end and go to that other end, regardless of what you pass, regardless of what occurs, and what happens on the way.
That is also the answer to the question about success:
1. Start
2. Continue
3. Continue some more
4. More, more and more
Getting to the end of that string to success should not concern you, especially here as there is so much fun working, sharing, learning, earning and enjoying the trip.
