I bought my own name as a com domain and haven't really used it. So, I wondered that since I am really interested in internet marketing, if I could use myName com for that purp
That's what a lot of big name bloggers do Peter. My name was already taken so I use MarionBlackOnline.com
I have seen many people do that with online marketing blogs. They have marketingwithpeter.com or PeterLastname.com, and essentially just brand themselves. It's a great way to gain trust with your audience I think!
I have seen it done I would make your landing pages emphasize your intent to build trust right away.

if you are only known for one thing, it's fine. Check this out. https://fizzle.co/sparkline/personal-domain-names

You can use a domain with your name. The important thing is the title of your site and how you optimize each page in that site. You won't be optimizing any of those pages (except perhaps your about page) for your name. My suggestion is to use the domain with your name but name your site/blog something that is very revelant to what your site is all about -- and then optimize each page for very revelant keywords.

Sure you can why not. If you market correctly.
