Life with Limitations – Still Moving Forward
For a while now, I’ve been living with health challenges that have significantly limited my ability to earn income in the ways I used to. Whether it’s physical pain, energy levels, mental strain, or just the unpredictability of symptoms—these factors have all shaped how I show up in the world and what I’m able to do.
It’s frustrating. There’s so much I want to do—skills I have, ideas I’d love to bring to life, work I know I’m good at. But my body doesn’t always cooperate. Some days are better than others, but the inconsistency can make it incredibly hard to plan, commit, or maintain steady income.
This isn’t a post for pity. It’s a post for honesty—and maybe even solidarity. I know I’m not the only one navigating invisible (or visible) limitations in a world that often assumes constant productivity is the default. I’m learning to ask for help when I need it, take rest seriously, and redefine what “success” looks like for me.
Thankfully, I’ve found WA, a community that have helped me rediscover my skills, my value, and my confidence. Being part of something supportive and encouraging has made all the difference—and reminded me that I still have so much to offer, even if the path looks different now.
If you're going through something similar, you’re not alone. If you know someone who is, give them grace. Behind the scenes, there’s often a lot more effort and resilience than people realize.
Thanks for reading. And thanks to those who’ve supported me through the tougher days—I see and appreciate WA more than words can say.

You'll find there are quite a few of us who can relate to your story. I just had a brand new member following me saying that she is on disability and needs to earn money to pay for medical bills...
You are clearly doing what you can - and that's all you can ask of yourself.
Being on disability is not only exhausting, but it ties us in a type of captivity.. Its like not being able to proceed, to move forward.
