How To Simply Verify Domain Ownership With Google
Log into or create a GMAIL account you want to associate with your DOMAIN.
Go to GOOGLE WEBMASTER TOOLS and SIGN IN with the same GMAIL account.
Now register all DOMAIN(S), that you want GOOGLE to verify, in your Google Webmaster Tools.
Google Webmaster Tools will now ask you to VERIFY ownership using various methods.
Choose the Option or TAB with Google HTML Code or HTML Tag Verification.
Google will show a very long HTML Tag / Code that it wants you to put on your website. NOTE: Google will link itself to this code to verify against the WA DNS or Domain Name Server.
COPY This HTML Code and then open your associated DOMAIN / Website.
On your website, OPEN your “All In One SEO” Plugin and go to GENERAL SETTINGS.
Scroll down to the box that says “GOOGLE WEBMASTER / TOOL” and paste the HTML Code in this box & click the SAVE button at the bottom.
Google Domain Verification will happen over the next few days to a week. Just go back into Google Webmaster Tools and click on the “VERIFY” button for your domain to check on progress periodically.

Wow, just wonderful.
I really love this sharing.
It's so kind of you my dear Monique.
I've bookmarked it.
Really, I enjoyed it.
Keep smiling my dear friend.
Glad you like :) I used to do a lot of this = M&P writing "on the job." but it was not part of my job. I just enjoyed doing it for customer service in telecom. It needed to be done, and no-one was doing it back then, so I added more stress to my position. But I actually didn't mind this one. :)
Hello Monique!
I tried to follow your directions, but I cannot complete the DNS verification process. The AIOSEO plug-in doesn't have the GOOGLE WEBMASTER / TOOL option for me to enter the HTML code. I looked in other areas of the SEO tool, but I can't find where I paste the HTML. You've been so helpful thus far, but could you provide another method for verifying the domain DNS?
Thank you!
Hey Dana,
Google Webmaster Tools is now known as "Google Search Console".
Here's a link to the updated details, as written by Google Support themselves.

You also have the option to "Verify Your Property" from there.
