Opportunity is Missed by Most People Because it is Dressed in Overalls and Looks like Work.
Opportunity comes in different guises. It can be an unexpected inheritance, hitting the jackpot at the slots or your new business venture in Affiliate Marketing.
- The Key to Embracing an Opportunity is to Make a Decision!
Think about it this way: You’re out for a walk and come across an old, abandoned shack. It’s filled with cobwebs and dust, but there’s also the possibility of a great deal of potential, but it was just sitting there … Unnoticed? Inside, you find a trove of forgotten treasures: furniture, clothes, toys… a safe … everything that would make a fantastic addition to your own home.
- The Key to Recognizing an Opportunity, is to Look Beyond the Obvious!
Opportunity is a positive state of mind that feels different than "work." Opportunity is about taking risks, being open to possibility, and putting yourself out there. It is about seeing the world through new eyes and breaking down old bias and barriers.
- The Key to Being Open to an Opportunity is to Embrace that Which Makes You Feel Uncomfortable!
To be open to opportunity requires taking chances, opening up to new experiences, and being bold in your actions.
Thomas Edison maybe one of the most recognizable inventors of his time is believed to have held 1,093 patents for different inventions, including the lightbulb, the phonograph, and the motion picture camera that have had a huge influence on our everyday life. But not everything he created was a success; he also had a few failures.
About ‘failure’ he is quoted saying,
“I have not failed 10,000 times; I have discovered 10,000 methods that do not work.”
Some of his invention that were great ideas that were not accepted by his world were,
Cement - Unfortunately, at the time, concrete was too expensive, and the idea was never accepted.
Motion pictures with sound - Many people have tried to combine film and sound to create "talking" motion pictures since the beginning of the creation of motion pictures. However, in his time this idea never really took off, and by 1915 Thomas Edison had abandoned the idea.
A doll that can talk - In March 1890, his talking dolls went on sale, but sadly customers complained that the dolls were too fragile and that the recordings sounded terrible when they worked. The toy bombed as a result.
- The Key to Embracing Opportunity is to Live Boldly and Fearlessly!
In order to choose a niche that’s right for you, there are a few things you should keep in mind.
Tip 1. Make sure that your chosen niche has enough room for growth.
Tip 2. Make sure that there’s enough demand for your product or service.
Tip 3. Make sure that you have a good idea of what people are looking for before you make your idea available.
By taking these steps, you’ll be well on your way to finding the right niche for your business.
Conclusion
Choosing the right niche for your business is one of the most important things you can do to ensure your success. Not only does choosing the right niche help you stand out from the crowd, but it also plays a huge role in determining how well your business will grow.

Hello Jeffery, my writer friend. I think this piece fits well with your writing. Always on the look out for fresh ideas!
Hello Jacob,
I really like how you wrote this blog.
Your definition of opportunity is wonderful. I like it compared to "work".
Standing out from the crowd can be hard, but like you say embracing something even if it feels uncomfortable.
Kind regards
Erica
Thank you for your kind words and the 'work' you took to support my efforts. The famous golfer Gary Player when asked how he become so 'lucky' at golf said, "The harder I practice the 'luckier ' I get.". No substitute for burning the midnight oil. Godspeed on your endeavors.

A wonderful title and a fantastic blog here Jacob!
Being persistent in what we do and possessing a never give up attitude will always lead to success eventually!!
So many want instant success these days and give up at the first hurdle they come across..
If something isn't working, try another angle, then another and another until we find what does work!!
Thanks for sharing my friend!
Thank you for your reply, Jesse. I've always believed the old saying, 'where there's a will, there's a way, the way is just sometimes overgrown.
You're most welcome my friend and that is a fantastic saying!
