A pin that is evergreen can generate consistent traffic over years. It can take up to 3 months before it takes off according to Pinterest marketing advisors. So if you plan a campaign Ex. Black Friday deals you should start months in advance to maximize traffic. Use the smartloop.
Thank you for the timeline suggestion! I love the idea of pintrest for this exact reason. My niche is with moms so I know this is something I need to put energy into learning about. I havent' quite figured out the smartloop so I will invest time into that.

It depends on the niche, among other factors. I struggle in the MMO niche, but do great in other niches. It also depends on how active you are on Pinterest itself. Are you following other people? Sharing other people's pins? You need followers to engage with your pins as well, and following other people in your niche is a great way to get "follow backs" (just don't overdo it, and get marked as a spammer!).
Have you seen Jay's webinars on pins? Pinterest Primer Building Amazing Pinterest Graphics Power Posting Pinterest Pins Running Pinterest Ad Campaigns Pinning more times per day can help as well. You can do 5-15 pins per day without being too spammy. Tailwind will make suggestions on times to pin as well with their scheduler.
I did watch his series, that's what propelled me into pintrest actually. Maybe I should watchthem again now that I understand a bit more. I am pinning 5 times a day, I will increase it. I generally submit 1-2 times a day to my 8 active tribes and I am seeing maybe 10 or more shares a day from different members of the tribe. I love their scheduler, that's why I am a part of the app - schedulers are the greatest thing ever invented! I will try and follow some more people and increase my pins but it seems I am doing everything right so far. Thank you Nathaniell!! You are the greatest

I spent the last week revising pintrest and my site. It is really slow, I am tracking and I am watching things gradually increase. Pintrest says I have 40k impressions and I get more followers almost daily. I have increased my posts to 13 a day. They are not all mine since I am a part of this tailwind app. I have also gone thru to pin some more pins to my boards. I think I am doing something right now since I looked at everything you all have told me. Thank you for all of your help.
