First Days with Wealthy Affiliate
I must admit that I was pleasantly surprised when I found Wealthy Affiliate! I had been looking through some online scams when I found a blog that not only warned people against online scams but pointed out that Wealthy Affiliate was definitely NOT a scam. I came to check it out, and joined for Free. I didn't really expect it to be free. I can't tell you how many "Free" sites I have joined over the years that subsequently asked me for hundreds (and sometimes thousands) of dollars to access the knowledge base or training.
I was skeptical, and kept waiting for the e-mail or pop-up that would tell me that I could go no further until I upgraded. That didn't happen. Of course there was a banner telling me that if I upgraded in 7 days I could take advantage of the special $19 offer, but there was no hounding about it. It was always my decision to make.
What did happen was that the WA member who referred me via his blog "Work from Home Watchdog" (Marcus WFHW) welcomed me here. Then Kyle and soon other members. Within days I had a group of followers wishing me well and encouraging me to continue with the lessons and the steps. I have never seen such an outpouring of support and I have been trying to make money from home since March of 2010. I also tried back in the 90's and failed then too.
I got to the step where I have to share the WA affiliate link in three places. I stopped for a while. I have a number of social media accounts because of past work running a website, but I haven't used them in over a year. I have already upgraded to Premium, but I don't know how my old social media friends will react. Some of them know about all those failed attempts... But it's a New Day and a Far Better Way with WA! I know I can do this! Look out World, I'm coming and you won't know what hit you!

Welcome back and you probably worked just as had for some else as you did on your website. No matter what happening, stay positive and helping others sometimes is better than being rich. The seeds you sow with harvest in due time. Watch your flowers one day and check it out they grow at a different rates, certain times of the year, and some requires more water than others.
My personal opinion on it is that you are the most important person in your life, and you have chosen to create a better life for yourself by getting involved in WA.
If your friends think you will once again fail, then let them think so.
Action speaks louder than words, and your eventual success will prove to them that they were wrong.
They may even come begging you to show them how and what to do so they can also be successful like you !!
That will be your reward for following your own heart.
Keep on working for yourself.... Forget about the opinion of others.

Well done on upgrading to premium Faye, you made the right decision. As for social media, there are lots of trainings and blogs about how to make best use of them. I wrote one about Twitter which might help, or you can use the search bar at the top to find related trainings :)

I will definitely check that out. I have been bullied off of there more than once. My sister said to just stop reading the replies when they get to be insulting. :)
I really hated Twitter but it can be useful for business. From what I can gather the trick is only following people within your niche, check out the profiles and see what sort of things they are tweeting.
Yeah, that's the way to go. It's also important to thank people who "Retweet" you because they are so flattered that they will do it again. My problem was writing about a TV show and tweeting during the show. Fans can get really obnoxious in there. I got a sort of PTSD about it only in this case is post-twitter-stress-disorder. I couldn't log in and so I couldn't effectively promote the website.
Ah right, well this app follows and favourites based on your keywords. I then go in and do some favouriting and retweeting, I only just figured out how to do the thank yous!
WOW! Just checked out your website! I love how user friendly it is and the larger fonts are a huge plus! I hate squinting at web pages because the text is too small. I think I will try to use the larger font on my posts and pages. Now, are you an affiliate for all of those web-tools? Because if you aren't you should be. You can earn money off of every click. and I guarantee that you are getting clicks!
I only saw the Upcycle Baby Clothes. The other site I thought was yours (you linked in your Twitter blog) was Loes. What is your other site?

and I thought that was your site too. There were tools I'd never heard of before and I wondered if she had all those affiliate agreements. Some of the affiliate agreements I have seen don't want you to post the competition in the same blog.
You put it on your "Do you Hate Twitter?" blog post after the narrow.io link. I just took it for granted that the second link was to your website and the one about the tools was yours too. I love the Narrow IO and am going to join that one for sure! I can't believe they find people to follow and then delete the ones who don't follow you back. That's an awesome feature.
Lol, I just realised it was the blog here you were talking about and not my website, sorry for the confusion!. Loes has some wonderful tips and free resources.
Yes, I ike Narrow, he's working on it all the time so there will be new features coming. I took the paid membership for $5 a month and am locked into that even when he puts the price up, well worth it I reckon. :)
