SMART Goals- Drop in
If you haven't come across me here, you wouldn't know that I am all about SMART goals. I check my stats weekly to see how things are progressing. I know that some of the higher income earners would disagree with me, but it's how I think.
Essentially, I look at things weekly to get an idea of how they are aligning with my goals here at WA, and quarterly, I will change what in my opinion isn't working.
What I will say is that several of my articles on my true crime blog are sitting at the #1 position on google, so that's pretty cool. It's the blog I am proud of my work on, and if I never make a dime from it, that's ok. I put a lot of research and effort into it. I am using it as a way to heal from my own trauma as well. It's a passion project.
My F around and find out money making online blog is also doing well as far as traffic goes, and its got its own fair share of articles sitting at the top of Google. It is completely opposite in style and topic as my far more serious true crime blog. However, what I have learned is everyone in the world seems to want a get rich scheme without putting money into it.
Admittedly, the only thing I pay for is tailwind and WA. I don't do traffic or pay per click anymore. It was such a waste of money, even the cheap traffic is just eh, I will pass. People do need to realize, however, that it takes money to make money. I wish more people on WA would understand that too. But what do you do.
So at almost finishing up month 2 here on WA there isn't much change from my last drop in except now I am sitting at a pending $400 payout from one of my programs, unfortunately that's all from bonus money and until I get an actual sale-well I wait. Sure could use it though!
Until next time, peace, love and lollypops!

Hi, Mandie.
I’m a big analytics guy, too.
I doesn’t require that big of a time investment to monitor my progress and find significant opportunities for traffic improvement.
Keep up the great work! 👍😎

Haha, I might have another Guinness tonight, Nick! 🍺
I have all my analytics reports sent up and saved in GA, so it's quick and easy. 😎

Keep up the good work, Mandie. The ultimate payout is that we do good work and deliver a quality product, and are satisfied with our efforts.

Every time I see your username, I think about one of my favorite authors. One of the reasons I was inspired to write about true crime. John Grisham :)
Well, Thank You, Mandie. :)
Unfortunately, I am not published yet, but I am working on it, and it will be Sci-Fi, not True Crime. :)

I am seriously thinking of publishing it on Kindle Vella where the first three parts (I think) are free. But then you have to buy credits/tokens(?) to be able to get later parts. At least till my first book is done, then publishing it as an Ebook and probably paperback, maybe even a few hardbacks. And following that route till done. The first three parts will be three separate storylines that I pull together for the first paid-for installment, I hope. :)
Thanks for the vote of confidence. :)

Hi, I've read your post and is very well presented. Correct me if I understood well. You are very well in writing and your blog is great: no.1 in google means that it's done according to the best rules and prescription but it's for you a nul money source. You write this blog because it's the mirror of your passion for true crime. From my personal experience passions satisfy our ego but never pay. My personal advice as I were personally involved: I will keep my passion because we must feel well with ourselved but I will search for money in another field considering that if you now the practice you can apply it to what ever subject more profitable. You're wise so focus on a more profitable subject but never abandon your personal passions. Good luck you'll be soon out! AnnaLoredana
