A Virtual Graduation
Hello Everyone!
First of all I wanted to say "Happy Mother's Day" to all of the mothers here at WA! With everything going on today in the world, it can be quite a challenge keeping up with everything that needs to get done.
I did want to mention that my youngest daughter is officially a Registered Nurse! She completed her courses with an Honor's Degree.
The traditional graduation ceremony that was to be held this weekend (Saturday) has been cancelled but the college is planning to hold a "Virtual Graduation" Ceremony for their graduates.
My daughter had me snap a few pictures of her in her cap and gown and she posted them on Instagram. If you would like to take a peak at those pictures, her Instagram handle is mhoon_light.
I was happy to find out that the ceremony would be set for a date in the future because celebrating Mother's Day and Graduation Day in the same weekend could be a bit much (when it comes down to all of this cooking and gifts being exchanged). LOL!
Students will not be allowed to leave their vehicles during the ceremony but they have been encourgaged to wear their graduation attire and to decorate their vehicles prior to arrival.
I do plan to take pictures of her car before heading to the ceremony and I plan on sharing those here at WA.
Thank you for reading my post!

That's wonderful news, Maria. I know you are proud of her. My daughter (in-law) graduated with her Associates degree in Early Childhood Education and Development. She faced many challenges with her learning disability but she made it. They also had a virtual graduation. I am so proud of her.
Take care
Charlotte
