The reality of disney magic
Disney is more than "when you wish upon a star" That song became the byword signature of Walt Disney productions Though I can't remember the exact lyrics, the tune remains.
I can remember Walt Disney presents back in the 50s on the old black and white Admiral television with its early hardware imperfection of a 50% visible black bar 2/3 of the way from the left of the screen. We would gather around and with anticipation listen to the program. It came out on Wednesday nights. In those magical grade school-days Wednesday was anything but "hump Day"
The media formatting was spaced intelligently. One week there would be an animated production like Cinderella. Another week would bring an actual film production like Tarzan of the Apes!
I must have had a technicians mind as I would often visualize the animations in color from seeing them in the regular movie theater. Instinctively I realized it was a forecast of the future. When color came in 1963 while welcome, things were never the same.
Disney was a pioneer in marketing media. You can hardly think of one of their slogans without adding accompanying music! Nothing ended there. Real 3D immersion with motion was introduced at Epcot and Disneyland California.
The Disney slogans are grist for many Wealthy Affiliate principles. Things involving human principles have a way of carrying on Each point made has global ramfications. When Nikita Khrushchev visited an expo trade show in 1959, he had favorable comments to make about Walt Disney.
For that day and age that is marketing ahead of its time. The messages have a lot to do with the end of the cold war.

The post brings back memories. When i was a kid my parents took me many times to Disneyland and i felt the magic everytime i went there. Its hard to put it into words but it was magical inspiring. The word Ohana was a very familiar principle while i was living in hawaii a decade ago. Once you are part of one family, they will not let you down. Same applies to WA.
