The battle for effective communication never ends. Live chat is a very effective method of communication especially for engaging
- widely dispersed audiences
- people of different background characteristics\
- A need for versatility at different times
- a ready track record of the activity
- a need for quick and efficient transmission
- Direct involvement means self correction in the messaging process as error avoidance

I agree! I've found myself in a chat session, online, three times in the past couple of weeks. Very effective way to deliver personalized customer support.
Thanks!
Tim
you forgot many people don't like to talk to others on the phone - akward pauses in the conversation, need to maintain a thoughtful thread, only one conversation at a time, etc. millennials never want to talk on the phone if they can text
So you have live chat on your website? What is your niche, I'm wondering. With live chat, don't you always have to be available or hire someone to be available?
I also don't actually have to speak to a person, but that's just me.
Thank you for the post!

Yep, I definitely agree. An example is communication I have with my mobile providers: solely via love chat, where they are able to solve any issue I may have. Just brilliant!
