We need guidelines and direction consistently in life and this is certainly true in business. This example can be divided in two. I would draw a line from 1 AM to 7 AM to the right of Process Excellence and Superior Safety.

To the left the areas focus on products and processes and to the right on people. Both are critical and integral to business. I can remember some businesses I worked with in the 1980s such as Man Tech and Data Mind.

To me the human half has always been the more powerful. What would any hardware be without human ingenuity? A good answer is what a non-functional phone or mobile device is called - A brick! No business can be built without the human guiding hand behind the technology!

All the human skill manufactures. The quality and safety concerns follow and round out the business. Here is where innovative boosting lifts the business off the ground.
