Desperate for skilled help Ngggg!XX
Hit a wrong button somewhere and lost all my 333 word post about the need for skilled trainig.in coding for web development. This always happens in the WA blog editor. When will I ever learn to ROUTINELY put the post into Word first then transfer it over!
Even though it is autosaverd as you go, there is NO WAY it can be retrieved if the wong key is hit. It's just gone beyond restoration.
SAVE YOUR WORK EXTERNALLY THEN POST!

Hi Colette and Philip, no need to save anywhere else first if you know the Control Z trick. Control Z restores your work instantly, like magic.
Bummer....I use Word first...but not because of losing anything in SiteContent. Doesn't it auto save?
Debbie
Heya Debbie, I just hit Control Z to restore my work. And yes, can always check for the saved copy.
That has happened to me as well. I use word and transfer. This it doesn't get deleted. I learned the hard way.
I always create a post in Word too first, and than copy and modify it. Learned it hard way years ago too! :)
I've never had that problem but you can write in Word. I copy into Word for spell and grammar check.
It happened to me a few weeks ago, I lost all the work I did for almost two hours, I couldn't find the way to get my post back so I had to rewrite it again.
Thanks for sharing a good tip!
Hi Michael, thanks for the tip. I have lost two posts at WA, it's very frustrating. All the best

Aaaaargh!! I feel your frustration!
When that happens, simply hit Control Z Michael and it will restore. Problem solved. I've had that happen too until I learned the CTRL Z trick. This Shortcut Key is a Lifesaver!
