Conjunctivity
Last week I posted about the biggest show in town referring to the great Amazon job fair in the US Wed Aug 2. But that show is about to be eclipsed on Monday August 21 2017 by guess what?... a solar eclipse!
This celestial event will be seen across all the continental United States. The track will run northwest to southeast epicentered from Oregon to South Carolina The zone of total disappearance will center on Missouri, Illinois and Kentucky! Cairo and Carbondale, Illinois will experience the greatest shadowing.
While there have been several touching some states over the years, None of this total magnitude have occurred since June 1918
This centennial performance will bring international attention and commerce as millions flock to vantage points along the projected track. One of the greatest arts practiced to day...photography will ensure millions of photos snapped especially in the desert areas that are more inclement free!
Clouds will be rolling in in my area. MD USA EDT about 3 PM. But this is so extensive it will show even in covered skies. I can't wait to see the show!
Often times we also wait for conditions to be "just right" in perfecting our sites and efforts here. There are very few works that are "just right" The secret is to go with the maximum opportunity available. You will find the difference in perception by your audience insignificant.

It will be right over my head in eastern Missouri. No school and every thing in town is shut down for this day.

awesome post Mike, I guess I should follow world events a little closer because although I hate to admit it this is the first I have heard about that, and I would have just thought the sun vanished. Thanks for sharing
In Australia, much of the Eastern Hemisphere will be treated to a partial eclipse of the moon Monday (Aug. 7) a prelude to the grand spectacle that awaits North Americans exactly two weeks later.
