Hi all, I'm happy to be among you and I love the progressive vibe here. I thought I'd start with an endeavor manifesto.

Love Something

We all have that thing we'd rather be doing, that's been on our mind, that holds our interest. We stop at it when flipping through magazines. We perk up when people are talking about it. We set the tv to record when it's coming on. We daydream about it. That's the "thing" that working on will not feel like work. My passion for this thing will shape and inform my decisions, not the pursuit of profit.

Value Myself

I will value my time and talent enough to share them. I will package them in a way that makes it easy for others to value. I may not be an expert on anything, but each step I take makes me an expert on that step. If someone throws stones at my work, I will build better works with them. Criticism will be welcomed as a gift of improvement.

Do Anything

Each day I will coax my reality to align with my vision. I will do anything that is not nothing. If I do nothing, I am guaranteed to get nowhere. If I do anything, paths will unfold for me to explore and discover success. I will set goals, big and small which will make me an antenna for things that will get me to to my goals.

Make Fear my Bitch

Each failure will teach me a lesson I would not learn without it. The seed of success is dormant in every defeat. I will be more afraid of missed opportunity than of making mistakes.
