Learning to be not stuck.... while being s-t-u-c-k!
After the excitement and the high of joining settled, still in course 1 - lesson 5... I'M STUCK!
So what do I do?
I give myself permission to play self-sabotage. Yup, that's right... I gave me the okay to RUNAWAY from the lessons and play a bit of a miffed "victim" for the rest of the month. That basically got me nothing. NOTHING!
Wait - nothing really sucks! I didn't join here to SUCK...
So what did I do?
I made excuses. I reasoned hey I asked the questions... heck I even emailed one of the program bigwigs, and no one answered my questions, or gave me the info I needed to get on with the program. Yup, I'm stuck!
Yay - this gave me valid reason to whine a bit, grumble some, ignore my goals, stop the lessons and then the bill for the next month hits and the payment comes out of my bank account. Hey now, THAT SUCKS. Wait Im not a billionaire yet... so a couple more days of procrastination and then the ANGER sets in. THIS IS NOT FAIR, IM STUCK!
So what do I do?
I run off with the boyfriend since he works in another state and go hang out with him. He asks me whatcha working on? Nothing- I belly ache. I hear myself give him all the reasons why Im not working thru this program and doing what I know I need to do. I hear myself say IM STUCK. Something clicks and I tell myself, "IF I HEAR MYSELF SAY IM STUCK ONE MORE TIME IM GONNA THROW UP!"
So what do I do?
I log into my account here and go to the lesson IM STUCK, STILL! Why? Because online learning is a damn challenge when you do not understand what you are learning and you can’t just raise your hand and get THE RIGHT or a STRAIGHT ANSWER from the teacher. Ugh- teaching my stubborn lazy brain is more of a challenge than I thought. IM…. Wait… stop!Stuck no… Im not stuck. Im going to figure this out! IM SMART, so once again, I pitch my issue that has me S…T…U- shhhh. IM NOT STUCK!
I finally got the answer I needed. I actually know what I need to do. I am no longer stuck. YAY! Wow, that took some stubborn personal analysis. IM NOT STUCK! Yay … no really YAY!
Guess what? I have to start over. This isn’t going to be easy street. I am glad too. Why? Because… sweet success when it does happen is going to all that much more SWWWEEET.
Back to square one! LOL! Well no not square one… more like square 1.5!

Thanks... I just had to get my head around what to do with my existing website and ultimately I decided to leave it alone and create a new one to go through the training here because it's going to be too difficult for my lack of technology to switch my existing website over to this platform blah blah blah but no I'm not stuck anymore. Blessings back.

Steve... what I want you to say? Not looking for you to say anything. The point of this post and what Im sharing is this...
I started this with expectations it was going to be easy. Its not. Ive had to really rein myself in and not give up on me when faced with challenges that didn't seem to have fixes or solutions by going the regular path. Everyone learns a bit differently. Excuse me!
I am also determined to make something out of this, in spite of my original plans not working as I had thought.
For christ sake I should be a millionaire by, now.
But, I bet there is someone else out there also feeling stuck and not able to work thru the issues and maybe they will feel inspired by my post and think wow if she can make it work ... me too. S
o STEVE... guess what? You are off the hook... you didnt and still dont have to say anything. If you don't like what I choose to share, please feel free to ignore my blah blah blah.

Hi Brenda, yes you are smart, very smart - don't forget that.
It's OK to take breaks from this when you need to, but just remember to come back. You did that, and that is so terrific. You should be really proud of yourself for your determination. I predict your persistence and willingness to keep learning will lead you to much success.
