Some news I quickly wanted to share with you

I'm sat waiting to go to the joys of employment but I wanted to let you know of my recent success. I wanted to share the power of Twitter. This weekend I got 4 sales in one day (usually maybe 1) meaning a comission of £40. I think Twitter has had a big impact, I have gotten myself 100 followers in little over a week. I first went to the leader in my category (who is also who I get the comission payments from), clicked on their followers (31k they have) and just kept on following these people. They are my perfect clientele due to the adult theme of my site. I then slowly put relevant tweets out, on the minute news news using Google alerts (this is really good as it shows your up to date with interesting articles), I put out offers and promotional codes which are available through the affiliate program whilst engaging with others. I was strict to only doing this for 5 minutes or less 3 times a day.

I think Twitter has been very useful as the number of clicks I have received to my direct links has gone up dramatically and hope this is the first steps to branding. If I get success with 100 followers, I hope I have double the success with 200 followers and so on. I was first against using Twitter as I didn't understand it, but there are no restrictions to using adult content etc unlike Facebook and Google plus.
