The Grinning Possum

I realize that some members that have been here longer don't always put value to rankings. However, a small town gal like me, it's an excitement this morning when I woke up to find my ranking fell quite a bet. I seem to be moving rather quickly, from my view.

My ranking started out at like 200,000 or 300,000 at the end of December. It moved a little at a time, no big deal. Then I fell to 20,000 and running around the house grinning like a possum. Not even a handful of people know what I'm doing here at WA. I don't tend to share with downers...lol

There for a week I sat at 1400 and never moved. Probably because I'm doing some research on a particular blog that I want to break up into 3 parts. Not sure this is the approach I need, but I also don't want to lose my reader as I'm beginning to collect a few followers. I do not know where they are coming from, but I'm proud they showed up. All are welcome.

Unusually this morning I woke to check my notifications, as I usually check their in the evening of my day. Hell, I haven't even had my coffee, lol. But I woke to find my ranking is at 508. You bet I'm grinning like a possum now lol. Now get this mental picture, I jumped from the bed and started jumping up and down like my 5 year old grandson. I woke all those in the house up and shouted my accomplishment out the back door. Not that I woke the neighborhood, except maybe a few deer. The opossum probably still asleep.

Now you might not find this exciting, or even important. I just wanted to share my excitement with those in especially top 200, because I've often heard that if you follow winners and leaders, you become one.

I like winning and I've been a leader several times. I wanna hang with the best of the best to help others be better too. It feels great to pass on knowledge to watch others succeed.
