Where did you buy/register your domain name? If you let me know, I might be able to help you more specifically.

Generally, it works this way:

As Mel (onmyownterms) advised, log in to the domain registrar account - the place where you originally purchased your domain name.

Find the 'manage domains' section. It will have a field where you can add/modify the hosting Nameserver Addresses to point your domain to WA Hosting. Add the above DNS addresses there. Save the changes.

It might take a little while to propogate, depending on your Registrar service.

You can check to see if the nameservers are set and pointed correctly by following this short tutorial: Millicent, let us know if you need more help. ~Jude

You enter name server data at your domain registrar (GoDaddy, Google, etc.) Wherever you purchased your domain name. If you purchased your domain here at WA, they should already be set up for you.

How and where do I create a name server?

When I transferred my website from Go daddy the failed to tell me my email would stop working and I would need to also transfer my email exchange to you guys. What do I need to

I had something significantly worse to happen with HostGator. Fortunately I have two Linux administrators on staff who immediately fixed the issue. Took less than 2 minutes. I suggest you inform support they should be able to handle this very quickly.

That's who I sent the question to, but it got posed to the community..

How long does the transferring of your site normally take? I'm not rushing I was just wondering. I check back daily like a kid in the candy store.

They advice to let the old site stay for a month until the transfer is completed !

Have a nice day

Attila

Thanks

You're always welcome !
