Clicks, Referrals, sales and credits

A few weeks ago I started advertising through Bing/Yahoo. It certainly takes lots of practice to get it right, and I've still along way to go. writing the article is hard enough, but I think writing the ad and finding the right keywords is even harder.

I want to get some feedback from members on how they advertise, some success stories and the ratio of clicks to referrals, sales and credits.

Since I started with the ads a few weeks back I've had 205 clicks, 22 Referrals, 1 sale and 3 credits.

The ad article I wrote prompting WA is far from being perfect, that's a work in progress, the advert was okay, but room for improvement, the keywords I think I got most wrong. It's a case of continuously making small improvement to improve the ratio of impressions to clicks and, clicks to sales and credits. I'd like to hear members tell of their ratio's as I believe it would help everyone to know what best to strive for. what you can expect at the beginning and the success later....that comes with practice.

No where is it more true than here, "Practice Makes Perfect"

Hi Mike

What is the difference between a referral and a credit? I have 3 credits and 0 referrals.

referrals are people who signed up WA with your referral link , each of us has its unique referral link, as I remember credits are granted even for some actions taken here or publishing some WA content on social media site

Yes you are right, then you still wonder if you have done enough or done it right. I am still learning about SEO. If one could get massive traffic to ones website it would be Christmas daily. Staying on top is difficult.

I don't think we have ever done enough, we just got to keep plugging away until we see the sun shine on us.

Practice makes better, but I have not found perfect yet!! A lucky stumble now and then. When you get the "perfect" answer, please share!

Yeah, nicely put!

Very nice!

Exactly right, get started then refine and tweak as you learn more.

That saying is sure true - Practice Makes Perfect, keep up the good work

Can't disagree with you Mike - Practice Makes Perfect (or at least better!
