Online Jobs for Seniors Take A Back Seat At Wealthy Affiliate
When I retired, I knew right away that I wanted something to occupy my time, make money, and keep me mentally sharp. I had no idea that as a senior citizen I would wind up with all of that and no job. Instead of filling out job applications for seniors, I started my own successful online business, thanks to Wealthy Affiliate.
Even though like a lot of seniors, I didn't know much about computers, I was spending a lot of time on the web after I retired. It didn't take long to notice the ads for online jobs for seniors, and boy were they enticing. Of course, like so many of us I started paying for work at home training that was either too advanced, useless, or out right scams.
My first attempt to make my way into a job online was with an online MLM company. The ads were promising so I paid them several hundred dollars for a website and hosting to get started. However, there was no training to teach me what hosting meant, what to do with it, or how to build a website business.
After months of searching for better solutions and answers, and wasting even more money, my dreams of real jobs or ways to make money online for seniors were starting to wane.
I can't remember how I came across an ad for Wealthy Affiliate, but I do recall thinking that it couldn't hurt to give it one more try? Considering the money I had spent with no results, the opportunity to get inside WA and have a look around for free was a welcome opportunity.
I knew immediately that the training was simple enough for me to follow along step by step. That's what I needed: simple training that I could follow along with, step by step at my own pace, with live help available and willing 24/7.
I came here as a senior citizen over 6 years ago with very little knowledge of legitimate business opportunities online or how to profit from them. In fact I was still thinking "jobs".
Today I know that success lies in thinking of myself as an entrepreneur with no boss to decide what to do with my time. Spending time every day in the training modules and implementing what I learn in my own business brings me continued success.
The internet makes no distinctions between senior citizens and students, races, ages, nationalities, or ven time on the job. Success online is available to all who are willing to follow the training here at Wealthy Affilaite and then implement that training into their own business.

That's exactly my situation! After so many years of working, it was hard NOT to do anything. So glad to have found WA, get awesome training, and have the community support. I can't wait for the next few months to start getting visitors & sales. Best continuing success to you!!
