Every time I try to add a comment to one of my pages after clicking "Post Comment" my browser shows "The requested URL "http://liveinfreedom.co.uk/wp-comments-post.php" cannot be f
Have you tried logging out from the Dashboard and opening your website just as a visitor would? I think this would be the best way to test if your comments are working. ~Marion
I honestly never tried, Mike. I think what I would try is a cold boot of the computer. I had a problem with something else and I had to totally shut down and restart. If nothing works, I think I'd file a support ticket. Good Luck!
I'm really not sure, I've been able to leave comments on my pages as a "test." They did go into moderation mode, but they also showed up on the page and I was able to go in and delete them. I wish I could offer more!

tried it while not "logged in" and it left a comment to be moderated but would not work when "logged in". I'm sure I'd tried that before but not to worry. at least I know if you want to add a comment to one of your pages Don't Try When Logged In! :-)

Woo Hoo problem sorted.
was able to rename the Captcha folder in my site at the host. That meant it couldn't be found when I opened my site. I was able to login and disable captcha from the WP dashboard. Then removed it altogether. Now my site is active again :-)
I could do this because my host had a utility called Web Explorer, it showed all the files in my site rather like Windows Explorer on my PC.
I might reinstall Captcha - But not on my Login page!

It's also good to know that your site can be edited directly.
The image that is showing on your login page is that of a broken link to the image file. I guess that the only way you can get back into your website is by requesting support from your hosting company. ~Marion
I don't use captcha on comments, Akisment takes care of spam. I use a different form with captcha for my contact page.
I was having a problem with Captcha and I put in a a support ticket. They realized I had more than 1 captcha plug in running and when I de activated one everything was fine.
Thanks Sandra, having the catpcha plugin on my login page prevents me from accessing the dashboard. Therefore I can't disable Captcha. If I cant access through FTP I think I'll have to speak to the hosts.
I see it on your WP sign-in page, but it's really tiny. It's this little symbol. Not sure what you're supposed to put in the box. If you can't get in there, maybe Tech Support can help. I learned something. I didn't even know you COULD put a captcha code on a sign-in page. Good Luck, Mike!
Yes there's a small image of a page but not the characters to enter in the code box. I'm looking into entering the site via FTP. On a WP forum they suggest using FTP and changing the Plugin folder name to disable the plugin. At least I will be able to get into the site and then work from there. Not being able to log in is a bit of a handicap :-(
Thanks but I still can't see anything except a sort of marker image where the code should be, even if i access the site directly rather than attempting to go through WP . Think I might sleep on it and look afresh tomorrow, especially if I'm going down the FTP route.

How can I remove this boarder?
It might be because you are using a caption. The ads tend to get boxed when you add a caption. I could be wrong, but that's what I remember. Try removing the caption, update, refresh your page and see what happens.

Why do my inserted images have a boarder?

How can I remove this boarder?
It might be because you are using a caption. The ads tend to get boxed when you add a caption. I could be wrong, but that's what I remember. Try removing the caption, update, refresh your page and see what happens.
